If that bad, makes you wonder if something like son-in-law did something to his daughter. In which case, I wouldn't blame him. Not saying it was that, just that we need to hear the facts before making judgement.
He may be a repeat affender, which in that case Texas should fire him

If true it sounds like he went to get the living **** out of her.

He's toast. This is not the right era to assault a family member as a representative of a public university. Wife battering? I guess time will tell.

This board is so poisonous right now I rarely visit.

But this seems a good time to express gratitude for having as University of Kentucky's highest profile public official a man who has recruited kids who have brought praise and honor to the university virtually without exception for a dozen years, and who has been a symbol of activist charity work, raising millions of dollars for Kentuckians in need and people in places like Haiti.

John Calipari has been a great public image for Kentucky and the university. As a Kentuckian now living on the East Coast I can appreciate how much that means. Thanks Coach Cal.
Thanks Cal!

Who would have thought Sarkisian would be the more responsible coach.

Being an alcoholic and being a low life piece of **** abuser are two different things.

Sark paid a price for his drinking and by all accounts has turned his life back around. But he never put his hands on someone, let alone a family, member as far as I know.

I have a little brother who is a piece of **** addict and drunk. Steals from my dad and grandad all the time. In and out of jail and rehab. Got three kids by two women that he doesn’t support. But I can say he’s never laid his hands on anyone in the family.

I understand that I’m just saying they have a coach with known issues but it’s the one with unknown issues who is in trouble. Although if Beard has an alcohol problem then it was probably already known to Texas considering the amount of time he is on the job.

Anyone who had him peg to be the next UK coach those dreams are now gone.
Those dreams weren’t gonna come true anyway. He graduated from UT, he wasn’t leaving. It was his dream job. Just another irrational name next to Billy Donovan, Jay Wright, and Brad Stevens.
