Hopefully he’s about to come back. Our defense would get a major jump with him back in the line up and playing. Beginning of season, I didn’t expect that injury to hurt us so bad. I should have but I did not.
If this season spirals out of control… I hope he redshirts and helps the new coaching staff next year!! Winking
He will play this year and likely declare for the draft after this season.

If he plays this year, he'll finish up his eligibility and won't need to declare for the draft. But anyway, I get your point. This is his last year. I don't see him redshirting and coming back next season.
Lol. Why risk rushing back from a knee injury, when next year, you will be projected 1st round draft pick.

Don't think he's projected to be a 1st rounder. Drafted yes, but not that high unless he runs sub 4.4 in pre-draft workouts, and I don't think he's got that kind of speed. He's a bigger body CB. Good prospect, but not one of the crazy athletes that gets you in the 1st round like Prince.
Edit: but what do I know. Just wait and see I guess.

It’s not what I want, that’s exactly what Jones wants. The man does NOT want to RS and wants to play now and help his teammates and coaches out. Trust me, just because some of you guys are itching for a coaching change, doesn’t mean Jones is. Just a hunch, but I bet he’d do anything to help Riley and Donte Williams out this year. Again, it’s what he wants, not me or you or any of us.
Grew up in Nebraska left a 3rd generation family business to live on the coasts. Never felt like Nebraska was home but got exposure to the program like you can't imagine. My finest memory of Nebraska by far. Otherwise, my experience sucked, for many reasons. Hence the occasional "You guys" who survive the long winters. No thanks

I don't think he comes back either way. If he sat out, which is mute at this point, he would just try to be at his best for the draft process and let his 2016 tape stand alone.
