Pay him 3M is way more worthy than paying Oweh/Lowe

Apparently he wanted to go to Duke but Duke turned him down as they took Cameron Williams at PF instead.
Admittedly I have not studied anything about this kid's game and skill set beyond what I just saw in the linked video... and he is no doubt a talented individual... but I didn't see anything in that video that suggested he is guaranteed to be a game changing type of Freshman next year at the college level.
The soft hands, good footwork, and fearless drives to the basket look good to me from a 6'8" SF!
Then again, my qualifications to judge HS talent start and end in at the fact I slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Duke is getting anyone they want and some on this board say's Scheyer isn't the best recruiter in college basketball.

Didn't an insider on HOB say he was going to commit to UK yesterday or today. What happened with that?
Nike is their recruiter. Duke is going to get everyone they want unless someone can disrupt that relationship.
Duke actually can handpick players, and it sucks
ESPN is their other recruiter! They are the hype machine for Duke.

I mean sure...but I like my odds a whole lot better of a five star being ranked in the top 5 being ready to contribute to winning as a freshman versus a five star being ranked in the 20's.You never know who will end up being top talent when it is all said and done.

Yes. They said the signing was imminent. Very disappointing that he didn’t and that the insider was wrong. Same guy still says he is a UK lock but the final touches need to be ironed out (I guess this is cash). The insiders don’t seem to be providing much inside information over there.
