Thats a bit of a surprise, thought for sure he was NFL bound.

I am stunned that either would return. But Chubb wasn't the same back last year as he was pre injury, Michel coming back is a bigger surprise, he is a more rounded back and great pass catcher out of the backfield We just didn't take advantage of it. But 18 starters returning for 17 so hard not to be excited I guess.

Well I can't say that Chubb and Michel both returning isn't pretty exciting for a UGA fan. Still have to find an OT, had a JUCO commit this week and he will likely start because we don't have anyone else to play OT. We owe UT one, but that bunch at UF has had our number since SOS got there and I know they have your number too, hopefully we can both put a big L on their schedule next year.

I like our chances for the East next year. We have the best 1-2 punch at RB in the SEC if boom returns. Now that Johnson has seemingly turned into a very polished passer and probably the best deep ball passer I've ever seen in college maybe? He throws the deep ball with pin point accuracy 90% of the time and the only time he doesn't complete the deep ball is when it's dropped. It's crazy how accurate he is on the deep ball never seen anything like it. And the fact we return 19 starters and have a pretty good DL and a great OL and possibly the best secondary in the SEC 2nd to maybe bama. I feel like next year is our year where we could easily win 10 games.

We could've easily won 9 this year. If we didn't collapse against USM and if Badet doesnt drop the deep ball vs UGA that inexcusably was tipped for an interception when he had his man beat for a wide open TD and the pass was right on the money as well, couldn't have handed it off to him any better. If not for blowing both those games damnit. To think we could've easily been a 9 win team since we easily should've beaten UGA and USM if we hadn't shot ourselves in the foot and to return 19 starters off a team that should've could've would've easily won 9 games. Very excited for next season. It could possibly be the best Uk football team of all time.

I'm with ya! Let's both beat UF and UT then the east will pretty much be played on 11/28 I think it is lol. That way if we lose then the next best team is there!

I share you're optimism brother. UT loses too much IMO. They're breaking in a new QB next year. UF is starting to get desperate. Mcelwein is making some moves he wouldn't have made 2 years ago. And I think a whole year under Hinshaw and a Gran Johnson will look very good on short/intermediate passes next year. Played UG toe to toe this year and had chances to beat them. We gain more than we loose. Problem is UG has a second yr QB with more exp coming back than Johnson and now both their NFL backs decided to return. We'll play with every single team in the east next year. If we win 9 of those we're a pretty good football team.

Depending on what other underclassmen decide to do at RB. This could potentially hurt us more than just the game against Georgia. Every RB that's above Boom on the draft board that chooses to stay potentially makes it easier for him to leave.

Kinda got to feel that Boom goes when you hear stuff like this-- just the luck of Uk football.

I was looking for this thread so I wouldn't repeat it, here is the link that I saw about it. Not just those two are returning, but also two seniors on D. Add in the number one rated QB with a years experience and the Georgia game just got a lot tougher. But then we were with them last year and have even more starters returning, I believe.

Here is the link:

More good news for UGA this morning as they land 5* OL Isaiah Wilson.

Re Williams, according to Maggard the group that will eval Williams has three ratings: 1st Round, 2d Round, return to school. Is there anyone who thinks he'll go in the first 2 rounds?
