So what happened on the throw to first? Reminded me of when Knoblauch had the yips when he played for the Yankees in the 90’s. For those that were at the game did it just slip or did he hold onto it too long because he felt like the first baseman wasn’t there yet? I’m glad we won the game but I did feel a little bad for the kid at second base.

It was confirmed the kid has the yips, and that he’s had them for a while. that’s miserable for him because there’s literally nothing you can do about it.

i was about ready to head to the car … have to say, i loved it, but 2 things … that’s baseball AND i did have a twinge of empathy for the IU player … tough minute for the kid

Why ya gotta throw knoblauch under the bus?!? At least he threw it in the stands to give us extra bases. That throw was even worse than knoblauch level, imo.
