Sasha being fragile is exactly why she was de emphasized first part of 2016 & the title plans put in serious doubt. Damn, old grandpa's instincts proven right again, and he will use it to overshadow all he is so wrong about.

Well of all the ppvs that.....was one. Cena going with the woe is me time to hang it up angle again I guess.

When has Brock been beat since his return to the biz? 1st ppv with cena, a wm with hhh? That it?

Watching ROH and NXT and then following it up with SummerSlam has shown me that WWE is not very good. They are overloaded with talent yet execute like crap.

You can't tell me that legitimate wrestling minds thought the order of that SummerSlam card made sense. You can't tell me that someone didn't think booking the U.S. title with no finish (second to last match btw) right before another match that ended in a TKO for stoppage due to blood was a retarded idea.

WTF is wrong with management? That's the best your creative team came up with? That Universal title design was the best you came up with?

Just piss poor decision making.

According to the Pwinsider guys, Banks is hurt (again) and will be out of action for a while

Orton needed 10 staples to close his cut last night, think it was the second elbow that did it

More importantly Balor was in a sling after the show and there is talk he could have a serious injury

After the WM debacle and last night hopefully WWE has learned that maybe it isn't a good idea to make a crowd sit through a 6 hour show, especially one where you don't have finishes in your last two matches and your best match was half way through the show

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) and American Alpha (Chad Gable and Jason Jordan) are two NXT tag teams that had a bunch of great matches against each other, with Alpha getting called to the main roster recently. Revival are great old school southern style heels, while Alpha is the big guy/little guy combo, except both guys have legit amateur credentials.

[laughing]

Reminds me of Bob Eucker in MLB "just a bit outside".

Guess Vince was right about only putting the belt on big guys since they never get hurt. [poop]

^ I just saw that on another board - nobody really has any clue. But guesses are more suspensions are coming. Maybe a few surprising ones?

Who would surprise you? I mean Cena would be the biggest shock of all.

Chris Benoit is going into the Hall of Fame, isn't he?

Alright BKH wins the internet today.

UFC invasion angle begins

Major star involved in something illegal (kiddie porn)

drug testing truth uncovered

Those would have a lasting affect, right? Not the first one, that would just annoy fans more than anything.

Cena is taking time off to film a TV show. If he got popped for a wellness violation, I can't believe it would be made public. Vince would just let him leave and come back

First one would just be stupid, and don't see it happening. As you said, annoying. Keep those worlds separate.

Second one would hurt the person, not the business. Now, if half the locker room is in on it, then that changes things. However, doubt it is anything like that or we would be hearing more on it.

There could be your winner. Like I said from my talk with Little Naitch, their testing is a bit of a farce. With all the recent suspensions, somebody may be shining a light on it.

Meltzer reporting that Balor has a legit shoulder injury which may require surgery. Great way to start the Universal Championship.

That seriously sucks, and was hoping it wasn't true. Guess it's back to Reigns and Rollins battling for the belt...yay

Don't mind Rollins being in the picture, but Reigns needs to stay where he is for a while. Not like the powers that be are going to push Cesaro or KO

True...guess the drug testing gets exposed, but is it really gonna have that much of an affect?

To me the title design just screamed pure laziness. I can imagine the call to the designer.... "You know the WWE World Heavyweight belt you did before? Just do everything the exact same but make the strap red, put Universal on it, and make the line under the logo black." Then they try to make the fans wait till Summerslam to see the title like it's going to be something special and different, when in reality it looks like something a Louisville fan came up with in 2013.

Probably impact their budding relationship with ESPN. UFC will probably not really want to be involved with an organization that does not follow proper drug testing and does it unethically. The E network probably doesn't care. They show the Kardashians so that relationship is probably fine.

Joe wrestling fan doesn't really care I would think.

One other possibility is concussion protocol and if WWE has been ignoring concussions.

You can't suspend stars for Adderrall or people like Eva over a technicality on paperwork of a prescription and not piss people off.

You got guys like Brock and others juicing like crazy but you're not gonna punish for that? That messes with people's finances and image. The selective process will piss you off.

The Pwinsider Guys are saying much the same thing about Balor, although he was on Good Morning America today with no sling or brace or anything.

Fun Stat I saw on another site...for all of the Warranted talk about Super Cena, he hasn't won a singles match at Summerslam since 2007 when he beat Randy Orton, and hasn't won any kind of match since 2010.

2007- Beat Orton
2008- Lost to Booootista
2009- Lost to Orton
2010- Won in 14 man tag match
2011- Lost to Punk
2012- Lost Triple Threat with Punk and Big Show
2013- Lost to Daniel Bryan
2014- Lost to Lesnar
2015- Lost to Rollins

No idea what they could be talking about about the Black Eye thing

Black Eye Reality = Drug testing fraud. Certain guys can dope, others can't. Here's how they get by with it . . . (enter 90 minute documentary with hidden footage).

Black Eye just for people who respect/are associated with the business = Brock going off script last night with at least one of the bookers knowing about it beforehand and not alerting Randy.

^That's just the Conspiracy Theorist in me, though.^ It's more likely that Brock got pissed that Randy was sandbagging and just decided to "get real." That's the Ockham's Razor theory.

Black Eye KAYFABE = there will be a UFC "invasion" (Connor Mac has been chirping loudly and a few WWE guys are responding) and Brock laying out Randy last night sets it up as UFC guys know how to fight and can take out wrestlers just like that, which makes them look strong. Invading stables need to be strong. This scenario is highly unlikely though considering Vince's propensity for protecting his brand.

I didn't buy the PPV, but following Twitter last night was very intriguing.

Kind of a letdown, but that will absolutely stop any momentum the women's division has had....good time for Bayley to get called up.

If UFC hadn't just sold, after Lesnar\Orton bout last, I thought that crazy grandpa might have been working an angle to buy the UFC. Don't think crazy could swing $4 Billion even if he really wanted UFC.

If it is true Bayley will probably have to go to Smackdown Live. She might be wrestling the girls Jax has been wrestling for the next 30 days.

Anyone been to one these WWE Live events? Is it worth the time/money to see since it is not a Raw or Smackdown?

Why would UFC invade?

Even if they dog stop the WWE guys, they still are associating their "legit" (just like boxing, you can't tell me they don't work outcomes) sport with "fake" wrestling. That would absolutely hurt their image.

If they lose it's even worse, and WWE going over is the only way Vince would go for it.

Just literally makes zero sense
