So, how did raw end. Was such hot garbage that I tuned out and switched to the FSU game which gave me flashbacks to Saturday night.

I like how they said Owens and Zayn would never face each other again, then tried to get around it by saying "well KO has the title now"
End of Raw Reigns comes out and Foley makes a match between him and KO next week. If he wins then he gets to be in the main event at the Clash

Rusev is on his honeymoon right now so Reigns didn't have anything going on. So they made this crap cause it made sense in terms of the storyline and then next week Rusev will be back to cost him his match and then we are back to those feuds.
I'm super curious how they can keep things fresh with the roster split all the way to WrestleMania. I assume Owens and Rollins is a two or three month feud until Triple H vs Seth Rollins? Then KO with a filler feud until Rumble then no idea.
Yeah he had a tape recorder with him on the road so I think a lot of it is from that and then the more later stuff in his career is more from memory.
But yeah, he is a fan of himself in the book but it's the best wrestling book out there. He gets a lot more into his affairs and drugs and craziness once he gets to WWF.

What I do find humorous is now that it's PC and it's the popular thing to be pushing the "woman empowerment" stuff, that everyone is trying to act like they had nothing to do with the sexual booking back then. It's such a joke to act like they're so morally above it now. Those women had nothing against it nor did WWE or the fans.
Now everyone has to pretend that women wrestling is like some civil rights movement. I say this as someone who enjoys some of the women's matches as well. I just don't like the fake BS they're putting out there.

Watched the Rich-Sawyer match last night and wow...there is no announcing on it which I kind of like. For 1983 it was some off the charts brutality, with a bonus match thrown in.
Read an interview with a guy with WWE archives or something and he made it sound like they have had this match for quite a long time and there are other old shows from the Omni they have as well.

I sort of wish there was some announcing - but it reminds me of the NBC experiment from the 1980s when they broadcast a Jets-Dolphins game with no announcers. I've watched about half the match I'd guess, I'll finish it but I really do need different camera angles and at least someone to explain to me why they're going at it.

^Fair enough, but the camera angle isn't the best and it's not like I'm very well versed in the history of Sawyer-Rich. My basic knowledge is limited to they had a long, bloody feud that some say ruined Rich's career.

Legend had it that Rich was given his short NWA title run because he slept with Jim Barnett. This link denies the rumor, but admits that it exists.
I thought it was well known he blew Barnett for his title run.
Speaking of awful human beings that probably sucked a caulk or two to get where he is in life, CM Punk is a heavy underdog in the betting line I just read. He's +300 to Gall's -400. I am serious, I hope he gets his *** kicked so hard that even Muhammad Ali would call him punch drunk.
I hate Punk. This guy is a super douche. He is so smug and whiny about everything. I've heard him complain about fans calling him "Punk" and I've heard him complain about fans calling him "Phil." Such a crybaby.

I cannot understand why Gallows and Anderson are being used in such a hokey gimmick. They should be portrayed as nothing more than old school bad *** heels. Being over the top and goofy works for The New Day. I feel like they are just trying to do the same, but with a heel tag team.
Dana Brooke is useless. What is the significance of her right now? Charlotte slaps her in the face, then Dana just takes it. She's nothing more than a white female version of Virgil with big tits. If she eventually gets fed up with Charlotte, what are they going to do? She has nowhere near the talent to work a program with the champ. Send her back to NXT and bring up Asuka. Hell, Payton Royce and Billie Kay bring more to the table than Dana Brooke.
AJ has to win, but for some reason, I really like Dean as the champ. I fully expect to be underwhelmed by the match, but I think they can work a good program.
Who wins the Smackdown women's title? Nikki is who most would expect, but I don't expect her to be physically ready to carry the title and work night in and night out. Natalya is awful anymore and Naomi isn't at a champion level yet. Carmella and Alexa are terrible. To me, the only logical answer is to finally put it on my girl Becky. She's the best worker in the business as far as women go, has the personality to cut great promos, hot as hell, and finally deserves the shot. Plus, she was the first pick and is crazy over with the crowd. Plus, her and Charlotte have broken kayfabe on twitter and instagram showing how they are best friends. The champs?
I liked the USO heel turn. They are annoying but have a helluva lot of talent. I think they can run a fine angle with American Alpha. Was Gable/s injury a shoot from a botch or work just so Rhyno and Heath can get a cheap short title reign?

Becky is dope AF. And an awesome worker. Her promos are bad, but so are plenty of others'. She needs to win.
I have a feeling that Rebecca will win it. Unlike Raw, Smackdown tends to give the crowd what they want more often than not. It's pretty clear that she's far and away the most over. Her promos are bad but in a good way. Her puns and quirkiness are what make the fans adore her. I could definitely see Nikki getting it, but it seems they may be pushing for a Nikki/Carmella feud right now. Lord knows, they aren't gonna skyrocket Carmella past someone as good as Becky. Then again, it's the WWF so who knows. I just trust in the SD brand more.

Watched the UFC weigh ins this evening. Punk is as cut as he's ever been. Honestly looks like the best shape I've ever seen him in. Still hope he gets his **** pushed in.
I am definitely in the minority here but I hope Punk wins. If he does get his butt handed to him wonder if he would call Crazy Grandpa and drop the lawsuit and come back.
