2 minutes and 14 seconds. I wanted him to lose but I actually feel super bad for him now. He didn't even get a punch in.
Don't feel bad at all for the SOB. Karma. Plus, getting destroyed like that pretty much killed his Best In The World gimmick if he does make a wrestling comeback. F*** him.

I know but it ain't easy to get your *** beat in front of your wife and millions of people.

He has been a smug douche though. I'm sure it was deserved.

It would be funny if Punk did like John Favreau did when he was Pete on Friends and keep on fighting, but get his *** kicked worse every time until AJ left him and entered a polygamous marriage with my wife and me.

Over/Under on Punk returning to wrestling 3 months.
If he crawls back to WWE then hopefully AJ Lee returns with him although Vince would probably bury him for a few months before letting him start to win matches again.

Nah, he'll want some time between this loss and his return so that it doesn't look like his *** kicking sent him back to wrestling. I'd take the over, and say it will be closer to 6-9 months.

If he goes back to WWE, which I doubt, Mark Henry, Kane, and Heath Slater will be making fun of the stupid ish Vince makes him do.

Vince should never let that little twerp or his woman back in the WWF. All Punk does is whine and complain. He's like Seth Rollins' character, but in real life. AJ was hot, but now I'm not so sure she just isn't a midget man from the neck down.

Well it's also entirely possible he goes to ROH or NJPW for a while too...not just WWE.
One thing is for sure though he got a huge dose of humble pie last night.

Punk will have two more fights I bet before returning to wrestling in some capacity.

For ROH and NJPW sake, I'd love for him to return because it would do wonders for making them bigger players and getting more media attention.

But very doubtful Triple H allows him back after what he said.

Can't believe he didn't get a punch in though. He got taken down from the beginning. Two years of training and you can't prevent being taken down that quickly?

His entrance was longer than the fight.

Although I did geek over hearing Cult of Personality blaring again.

I think it's been said but eventually everybody comes back to WWE, but it's going to be a while before Punk does.

He will end up in TNA, ROH, or New Japan first.

Not sure why but Meltzer is reporting that Orton is off the Backlash card tonight. Considering that was the second most interesting match on the card by a mile that pretty much makes it a dud for a ppv.

Am I the only one, when they introduce the international announce teams, who waits for Funaki to say, "Indeed!"?

Orton hasn't been medically cleared to return to the ring thanks to Brock at Summerslam, so that is why we got that.

Can't remember which one of you said this but Smackdown is the show that actually gives the fans what they want. So far tonight we got Becky and Rhyno/Slater as Tag Champs.

Now will they go all the way and give the title to AJ

I've considered getting it before but always come back to the fact that I doubt I'd really even use it that much. Would spend all my time watching late 80s-late 90s shows and matches.

That's pretty much what we all do. I just watch the good stuff from when we were kids and then the new PPVs. I didn't watch wrestling for a 10-year period so I skipped all of that.

Y'all don't understand how happy I am for Becky Lynch. I've always said she was the best in the women's division. We all love Becky Lynch the character, but Miss Rebecca Quin is who I'm really tickled for tonight. She has always worked her *** off, put the company first, and did what was best for business, even if it wasn't what the wwe universe wanted. She has helped put over so many new girls over, just because she's so passionate about the women's division. The 15 year old girl from Baldoyle who once failed PEnfinally reached her dream and deserved every bit of it.

I'm a huge Dean fan, but I have to say that nobody deserved their moment more than AJ Styles tonight. He is truly one of the best to ever put the boots on. It's a shame that it took the WWF so long to bring him in as a main eventer. AJ always makes matches great but Dean is an underrated hand as well. I enjoyed the match, but I do think AJ should've gotten over clean.

If I was ranking them.

1. Lana
2. Eva Marie
3. Nikki Bella
4. Becky Lynch
5. Alexa Bliss
6. Carmella

Don't care much for the others.
Rankings just on looks:

1.Alexa Bliss
2.Becky Lynch
3.Paige(If she still counts)
4.Lana
5.Sasha Banks

The rest just don't do it for me.

I think it worked with it taking this long for AJ to come to WWE. It allowed him to be absolutey amazing in multiple companies around the world and garner a fantastic reputation. Who knows what WWE would have done with him if he was here much sooner.

WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!

I'm OK with all of it except the big league Tag Champs. The Club should have it for Raw, and American Alpha should either have the belts, or be chasing the Uso's for them since they turned them heel. Heath Slater and Rhyno are just taking up air that more important people could be breathing.

y'all are silly if you think Vince & HHHOOO wouldnt come to some future agreement to bring Punk back. anyone who can fill seats & draw eyes are welcome no matter their past personal beefs. Ultimate Warrior, Bruno, Hulkster, Bischoff. And Punk isnt stupid enough to come back to be jobbed out to Slater & Hornswaggle, he'd want a Jericho like part timer schedule.

pleased with AJ's title win, can't help but wonder "what if" he had been signed 10 years ago.

He would be in Dolph Ziggler's place. Best thing he could do with his career is what he did. Well, except for staying in TNA so long. But going to NJPW and ROH to cement himself as a heavy hitter made his career. Can't say he makes it if he jumps straight to WWE.
