Four hits (.129 BA), 3 runs, 4 errors, 9 walks issued and 7 stolen bases allowed.

Against the Citadel.

This could be a historically bad conference season... of biblical proportions. Possibly even epic. Or worse.
Yes and it wasn't as if the Citadel pitched a weekend starter. They played Kentucky this past weekend and pitched their weekend starters and burned through most of their relief pitchers.

I watched the game. It didn't appear USC had an interest in keeping runners close at first base.

It's no surprise - after all, they have lost to N. Kentucky, Army and Queens.

Queens.

These aren't flukes.
I don't know much about Queen's baseball program although I watched them beat USC.

That said, i saw their basketball team is dancing in their first year eligible. They must be doing something right.

The roundball team might be, but this is the baseball team.

And "first year" is kind of the point

They started their transition from DII to DI in 2022 and this is the first year they are fully eligible in DI. USC now holds the dubious distinction of being the first P4 team they have beaten.

Ever.

No other team had that on their resume... but USC can now claim the honor.

That doesn't seem like something to be proud of and pretty sure it wasn't on their list of goals for this season. And neither were losses to NKU or Army.

This was a program that was historically one of the best and is now collecting resume stains instead of wins.

Wasn’t this Queens first victory against a P4 team. This team is way past bad, they are hideous!! I dont see them winning a Single SEC series.... I hope i am wrong..
