I don't live very close to a Costco. and I don't need a membership because I never need to buy in bulk.

Never been in a Costco in my life even though I have one close to me. Am I missing out?

Costco sells prime steaks for about the same price per pound as Kroger sells Choice... yeah, they typically sell them in 3-4 lb packages. So like 4-5 NY Strips or ribeyes per package. You can freeze a couple; won't hurt a thing.

I was never a Costco guy, but there are quite a few items I get there that justify the yearly membership, especially after the cash back you earn.

1) Steaks
2) Wild salmon
3) 18-packs of Pellegrino
4) Gas
5) Metamucil (ha!)
6) Muscle Milk

Plus it's closer to me than the Kroger.

As a GYEROer with ample disposable income and a love for supporting local businesses, I get my beef delivered from Noche Linda Farms. The quality is awesome, the price is reasonable, they deliver to my house, and I can get cuts that can be hard to find at groceries stores such as hanger steak and short ribs.

But I guess if you need to buy bulk metamucil Costco makes perfect sense.

You guys are nuts about Mrs. Thomas. The idea that his white wife is not permitted to have her own thoughts and her black husband permitted to have his own thoughts sure sounds sexist and/or racially prejudiced. His job is in no way in jeopardy over the speech of his wife or your perception of her speech.

That is an awful take.

I'm not going to knock your Noche Linda Farms, but let's compare:

COSTCO Pros:
  • 3-minute drive to my house requiring passing no red lights
  • Prime Steaks are under $20 / lb
  • It's open 7 days a week
  • They sell short ribs, sirloin, filets, strips, tomahawks, ribeyes, ground beef
  • You can get choice beef or about 75% the cost
COSTCO Cons:
  • You can't buy less than 2.5 lbs at a time
  • You can't get a hanger steak (lol)
  • They don't sell dry aged beef
Noche Linde Farms Pros:
  • Dry aged beef (this is pretty big)
  • Various cuts of meat
  • Delivered to your door
Noche Linde Farms Cons:
  • You have to order ahead of time
  • It's kind of a mystery what size steak they're going to send you
  • Questionable the grade of the cuts (they don't mention prime or choice)

Notice Alito was the main one behind the decision but they've went full on racist as hell attacking only Thomas.

Plus all of these ppl are stupid. The Court keeps giving congress MORE authority. The govt is entirely ran by democrats and instead of doing their job and making constitutional bills they would rather scream and light themselves on fire. That tells you what they think the role of the court is...
