Lots of HS kids
125 Sidun Burnett could see Bousakis McCrone Knox
133 Kenny
141 Herring could see Saunders
149 Bassett could see Stiles
157 Miller could see Cannon
165 James could see Paddy or Birden
184 Hutcherson
Hwt Bechtold
Bassett with the best chance of the HS kids to win his weight class and he probably will. Don’t forget Kilkeary at 125, that weight looks like an OSU wrestle off. 141 is up for grabs as well, but not as much confidence in Herring against older/stronger confidence

brackets are up. Love the early round draws

Sidun-Burnett (winner on McCrone’s path)
Bassett- Jaxon Joy (winner on Stiles path)
James-Perentin (winner gets Birden, then eventually Gallagher)
Herring-Cortez
How do you follow wrestlers now with these new brackets? The old way, I’d find guy I wanted to follow and click on name to get text alerts

Yeah im trying to get used to these brackets as well. As far as I understand, there is no longer a ‘dashboard,’ so I just use the “mat schedule” feature from the menu tab and then refresh from there. I think you can sign up for individual alerts as well, but haven’t tried that yet. Sidun on-deck Mat 7.

I'm going to be severely disappointed if there's no dashboard function. It was my favorite way to follow tournaments I couldn't watch. Arena and track wrestling each had a version of it. I can't believe they didn't include something for the next gen.

125 pounds R32- Landon Sidun (UHH) vs. Grey Burnett (UP)

Period 1:
I'll be around to cover some of this today. I'm curious to see how the recruits perform. Here we go. Burnett is taller & leaner. Sidun is pretty stocky. Circling & head tapping. Sidun is using the one knee down & one hand on the mat position. Burnett shoots. Sidun counters & wraps around the chest. Stalemate & restart. Circling, hand fighting & tying up. Burnett drives forward. Sidun fights him off. Sidun back to the kneeling defense. He's hard to score on in that position. Burnett tries a drag, but no luck. Sidun inches forward on one knee. They tie up, then break. Both are on one knee now, then they work back to their feet. Circling, head tapping & kneeling. Sidun is creeping forward on one knee again. More of the same to end the period.

Period 2:
Woah, big Defense Soap banner covers the screen. Sidun takes down. He gets to his feet, but Burnett brings him back down. Sidun gets hand control & the escape, 1-0, in 18-sec. Back to circling. Both are using the one knee position now. They move to their feet. Sidun prefers to kneel. Burnett with some snaps & he works to a front headlock. Stalemate & restart. Circling, Sidun back to a knee. Burnett reaches for an ankle. Sidun counters & gets a front headlock. He's trying to come behin, but Burnett is maintaining position. Sidun keeps working & gets the TD, 4-0, & rides out the period.

Period 3:
Burnett takes down. Burnett sits out, turns, gets to his feet. Sidun drops down on an ankle. Burnett gets a shin whizzer & works for the escape, 4-1. Circling & Sidun quickly shoots a low single. Burnett gets an ankle & is trying to counter. Burnett works up, but it's another stalemate & restart. Burnett drags & shoots, but Sidun stays squared up. Burnett has a front headlock. Stalemate & restart, 37-sec left. Circling & tying up. Burnett tries a throw by, but no luck. Burnett drives forward looking for an opening & they go out of bounds,, 11-sec left. Burnett pushes forward again & shoots. Sidun sprawls back & away for the win.

Landon Sidun DEC Grey Burnett 4-1

Good 4-1 win for Sidun. He's a guy who wrestles on a knee a bunch. I know some don't like that but it works great for him

Go to Floarena and click the square box to the right of the event. The dashboard is there. Nevermind I added the link
