Just make sure you play Disney and Culture Club music during the BR warmups.

It puts them to sleep and gives you a definite W!

Last years crusaders were a different group.

Had a nephew on the team when Montini played the Disney music. Definitely backfired

It just amaze me how little respect Warren gets ... a lot of people have not seen them play and just discount them. There is amother team up north besides Loyola. Stay tuned .... home of six flags !
I'm thinking of taking Warren to go all the way in my 8A bracket. No disrespect here. But remember 8A playoff football is for real so almost all of those 32 teams are legit. Good luck to you and your school but remember pride comes before the fall.

South Elgin and Bartlett are programs on the rise but won’t be able to compete with playoff level competition. Both have great HCs and parents supporting them and are making great strides since taking over those struggling programs. Most likely running clocks at some point in both these games. If they where to place them in the Dukane or West Suburban they would struggle big time. They play in the least competitive large conf in the Chicago metro area.

The Indianapolis Colts played video and music from My Little Pony during the Denver Bronco's warm-up and we know it worked there...

Lol... I was only asking cause it's a unique setup for visitors with Mobile Bleachers. Could be standing room only depending on the turnout. I figure all the SE folks will be there as well.

Any truth to the rumor I’m starting that the game will be moved to Streamwood’s turf field?

If they do... It's trash. I know it was really sloppy Tuesday. Bartlett wants to play on the home field for sure.
But no official word yet. Moving to streamwood really changes the home field advantage for Bartlett.

If it was really sloppy on Tuesday I’d imagine it’s a disaster after yesterday and Today.

It be nice to play on a field where you can actually run if it’s an option to move.

If the field is destroyed and under water it won’t matter what the weather is tomorrow
I guess we need to wait to hear the decision. I haven't seen the field. If anything there is snow on the field and not underwater. And it will be 27 degrees So it will be ice not water. Either way it's game time.

Not at all. The 5-4 underdog needs poor field conditions to negate Bartlett’s numerous advantages.
Correct. The underdog.... Yet every person here picked BR to win by 21 or more including edgy tim who has them going to the semi finals.

You haven’t seen the grass field but know it’s not in horrible conditions?

Either way you are correct. Time to line em up:

Kind of getting annoyed with your tone to us CCL folk.

See you tomorrow

One of the worst fields every year is Duchon. FWIW, Glenbard West has tarped Duchon between the 15s long and over the hashes wide...worked well earlier in the year when they did it...we will see how it worked Saturday.

I don’t know what offense Bartlett runs but you have the home field, it’s your choice, would a wet field effect your offense and style of play? I think it would effect Rice’s. MC had a real hard time with their offense at Marmion in the mud.

Yeah but did you see the Barlett freshman are undefeated and the best ever and and just can’t be beat?

You want to see a home field advantage look no further than Neuqua’s field. The slop created this week with all the precip is not going to be gone by Saturday. NV hasn’t played a home game since 10/4 against Central so the field is “somewhat” decent. That won’t last long against Conant. I assume they play on turf? Does anyone in their conference have grass?

Is NV a running team? Game will be in the trenches.

All MSL teams have turf. Not sure if any of Conant’s non conference games were on grass.

Also Conant’s starting quarterback is out with a broken collarbone. Sounds like their starting safety is filling in.

That would seem like a big issue given the option offense they run, no? QB1 has to understand the reads and his options.

From what I’ve read the backup is pretty explosive. He won’t play every series at safety though so that’s where it could really hurt them.
