The 2014-15 team says hi. BMac played 33 minutes per game, Vic played 24 mpg and Scottie played 15 mpg.
I had forgotten about that first year do to recency bias. That said, it was his first year and he was trying to remake the program and his recruits were better able to do that. He brought in half the team (6 Frosh) This I believe, is the largest Frosh class since them, They guys you mentioned. especially BMac and Law were a step above anything we had at those positions. While Sob was an OK backup PG, BMac showed that he was the guy. Law was a difference make that we just did not have. I would even add Skelly as he was the first true PF we had had since Hardy. Cobb would have filled a big role but unfortunately he had been sidelined by injury his entire time here and that year they gave openings to younger guys.
There only been a couple other cases where Frosh have gotten big minutes such as Falzon in 2015/16, Kopp and Nance in 2018/19. Boo Bui and Robby Beran in 2019/20 but overall generally don't have this big a class with this may getting opportunities,
