Classic PSU Games

I have a recording series set up on my DVR to record classic Penn State Games on B1G network. Am watching '93 PSU vs USC.

Ki-Jana was part of running back by committee with Archie and Pitts. Sacca was at QB. Tyoka Jackson's senior year. Forgot how good he was. USC had both Jason Sehorn and Willie McGinest. Tons of talent on both sides of the line. Good stuff.

Something tells me with the storm I'll be getting caught up on all my classic Penn State recordings.

This was recorded weeks ago. Just getting to it. I've got like 8 of them saved.

I no longer own a VCR but I still have a tape with highlights from the '68, '69, '71, '73, '77, '78, '80, '81 and '82 seasons. It also has the highlights form the '83 Sugar Bowl. Not sure where it is, but, if I can find it, anyone want it?

Check with local electronics/photography shops near you. Some of them will convert old tapes to updated technology. It’s at least worth looking into.

Youtube has a lot of past PSU full games. I watch all the home games from 1993 to present in order on there and then start over. Back around to the '99 Akron game today. Already dreading Minnesota.

Watch Penn State at Notre Dame from 1986. The game is available on YouTube. The Keith Jackson commentary on the state of Penn State football at the time will enlighten some of the younger or ignorant folks as to where Penn State was viewed on the pecking order.
