Lots of interesting things floating around out there about why Flynn plead guilty. If true...

Today is the day they're supposed to give a joint Mueller/Flynn agreement to the judge.

(That agreement could be another extension, btw)

Flynn had a very good record with a career in the military and rose thru the ranks. Then when he needs his country to stand up for him, he gets caught in the political cross fire, and the libs want to castrate him. He was probably advised by a lazy lawyer to take the bargain instead of working to beat the case. Love the country, but times am ashamed of what it does.

Mueller and Flynn are agreeing to postpone sentencing.
Somebody had to initiate it. Flynn probably would not want to risk postponement til Trump goes out. Truly believe he will receive pardon. And should if charges are not dropped, imo.

If he has pleaded guilty to a felony, his military record should have no bearing on the outcome. Why should the Country back him if he is guilty?

Obviously you and I have a different set of values. He gave 30 years to the military. I thought we could afford to forgive a little. It was a white-collar crime without physical injury to another.

Don't know much about the case, but I did understand he could probably beaten the charges had he elected to contest. Would probably have drained him financially. That would benefit no one. Probation for a few years and suspension of any license he had in his profession.
