The best solve for any of the hypotheticals is to win, which we nor KY did against a sub-par CLem Offense compared to years past. we did not seize the opportunity. we need better Oline play and DLine play if we are ever going to compete. Clem faithfuls consider this year a miserable failure with 8 wins. what would we consider 8 wins. we all believe SEC is a stronger conference, yet SEC consistently struggles to beat Clemson. Sad but true and it pisses me off. Good defense wins close games. we need a great defense. we need to be able to stops a team on 4th and 1. that is in the DNA of a strong D. I think out d coaches did a heck of a job with the talent level we have. You saw what the kid from KY did to disrupt passing in the first half against clemmers. we need a 345lb Nose guard.

Did anyone else notice, I think Clemson got 4 time outs in the second half. If they did,they would definitely run out of time.

KY had too many men on the field on the play where we used our first TO. That’s why the subsequent play was 1st and 5 and we still had 3 TO. The announcers didn’t do a very good job of pointing it out.

Sadly, one of the reasons Clemson's record against the SEC looks so good is because they play Carolina every year. UK was a 7-5 middle of the pack SEC team this season and Clemson was a team that Dabo the Clown said "everybody should buy stock in". If UK doesn't turn the ball over 4 TIMES!! in the 4th quarter and doesn't play prevent defense, UK wins pretty easily. After the UK game Dabo acted like they had just won the National Championship. It was really sort of pathetic.

Agree. If the last 2 games are any indication, it seems to be levelling out.

You could say the same for Stoops at UK. The only thing that really changed for UK is HBC quit 2 years before he left, and then we hired Muschamp. So damn glad Beamer has reversed that trend.
