First and foremost wanted to say we really enjoyed yall coming to Death Valley last year. Met some great people from Louisville for food and drinks at our tailgate. We made it an emphasis to talk to as many UL fans as we could. We got along with everyone so well we decided our whole group was coming up for the game. Our tickets are in section 2 row bb, that's what iptay gave us. I'm assuming that's the "UPS flight deck" in all honesty how bad are those seats? Might be willing to sell our tickets and pay extra for better seats. Hope to have another great game with yall. -Go Tigers

Here it the thing about your tickets. They are GREAT seats if your a football addict. You can see the play developing etc. NOW, it is far from all the hub bub if you will. You have full access to concession and bathroom. (plus you have chair backs seats) They have elevators, escalators or you can walk up the ramps. Please feel free to interact with the CARDS fans. They are a gracious bunch to anybody not named Mountaineer or wildcats. Food and drink will be shared along with 25,000 cornhole boards. LOL

Sounds good! Received an email from iptay (clemson booster program) that they're doing races and a tailgate on Churchill downs. Is this common? It sounds awesome, we're going to that since none of us have ever been to Churchill downs

You can go to the following link: http://louisvillefootball.io-media.com/ Click on the upper deck section at the open end of the stadium (north side). Section 1 is a small section and section 2 is right next to it. Row BB is near the top. That will give you a view from up there.

I've been up there before and it is not a bad view of the field but it is very high up. You will be in a Clemson section. I sat in the top row of your stadium last year and needed a Sherpa guide to make the final assault on the summit.

Hope you enjoy your trip to Louisville as much as I enjoyed my trip to Clemson last year. Clemson fans were the most hospitable I've ever encountered on the road.

You'll love Churchill Downs. It's an easy walk to the stadium after the races and you don't have to worry about fighting traffic closer to game time. It's rare that the horses are running the day of a Cards game so you should take advantage of it. Unfortunately I have to work so I'll be getting to the game near game time.

To echo another comment - Row BB is about 2/3rds of the way up the UPS flight deck. As far as upper deck seats go, they aren't terrible - but they are high up. Sections 1-2-3-4-5 in the upper deck are all Clemson fans (as are sections 101, 102, 201, and 202 in the lower bowl), so you will definitely be among friends. If you can get seats in sections 101, 102, 201, or 202, you will definitely be happier with your seat location.

I would advise against getting seats in any other section besides the ones listed above, as you will be sitting amongst the enemy. Your fan experience will entirely depend upon who is sitting around you. If you happen to be seated with great and gracious UofL fans, then you will have a wonderful time. If not, then it won't be much fun.

I wish you all the best. Thrilled to be members of this great conference - thanks for the invite!

Do yall have a ticket market that's good to use besides stubhub or something? More power to you FredBurgCard. Been a Clemson fan my whole life and I've never been to the top of Death Valley haha. About mid way is as far as I've gone lol. In comparison to DV how high is the flight deck? Also were staying at the holiday inn right at the stadium, is this a safe area? Have kids and toddlers with us.

I expect their will be a lot of tigers in Louisville, tickets in Clemson sections are going for 250+ lower and around $100 for uppers.

I'm not aware of any ticket broker that operates in Louisville exclusively. I believe Kentucky law prohibits selling a ticket for more than its face value. There will be ticket sellers outside the stadium but I imagine the tickets will be pretty pricey. I would stick with the seats you have. The climb to your seats won't be that bad. It would be comparable to half way up the upper deck at Death Valley. You may also get the thrill of reaching up and touching a UPS jet on final approach to the Louisville Airport. There is no problem with the area immediately near the stadium to include the Holiday Inn Express. It's not the most picturesque part of town but it is very convenient to Churchill Downs and Papa Johns.

Ummm, you're high up but not as high as I was at Death Valley last year. I met a Sherpa on the way up to my seat.

Hope you are treated as well as we were and have as great a visit as we had last year.

Peace

Your hotel is safe and entertainment in that area is ok, however this is not indicative of Louisville entertainment. I'm an East End guy and there is a whole lot to do there or going down to the river at the Captains Quarters. I hope you enjoy Louisville and come away with a good impression our fans will be glad to help you out if you need some.

May God bless you Clemson fans and certainly have safe and fun times! Check out 4th Ave. Venues and if you can get to St. Mathews Mall/Shelbyville street area their Rock Venues that certainly entertainment venues. All the Irish venues are there and Cards Fans!
