Dang! I got an email from Clemson yesterday offering free admission to the game, if I woulda thought it would actually of been a game I might of drove down.
As for what's happened to them they didn't pony up enough to keep a good coach in purnell. I live fairly close to Clemson and heard some radio guys one time say as long as they can stay above .500 they'd be happy with it so not much support for the basketball program.

Just remember, Syracuse lost to a D2 in fall 2009 to go on and lose by four in the sweet 16 to the eventual national runner-up...
That's true and they ran man the entire time. Also a few year ago Michigan St lost to one too
