Got my son (22) 2-tickets to Auburn at UK for Xmas, hoping he takes me instead of his girlfriend (lol).
Hopefully next year UK will be back in Columbia, I usually go to that one, just 3.5 hrs away, so can get back the same night.

The Triangle (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) also has a UK Alumni Club (not limited to alumni, so maybe BBN is a better reference), but it's smaller than the one in Charlotte. Still if you go out in the Triangle wearing UK gear, you will likely run into another UK fan.
That group alone will be about 5 percent of the arena. Would be nice to have 15-20 percent of the place.
Got a couple Go Cats from folks at Brewery Bhavana at lunch about an hour ago. See UK stuff all the time where I live (Five Points in Raleigh) and all around. Yes, group here is much smaller than Charlotte’s but could likely be larger.

A couple years ago I got last minute (day of game) tickets to UK at USC in Columbia for $20 each, and they were good seats, 4th row upper level about the FT line.

I'm considering it. I know it's all verified resale but I don't care. I'll make my decision here soon. I believe I saw lower row x 2 tix for around $800 plus fees. It's steep but it'll be worth it. I haven't been to a big game in Rupp in over 25 years.
