It’s that time of year where I’m reminded of how lucky Clemson is. A fumble on a simple lining up for the FG. Muffed punt leading to a TD. Duke should be leading this game but, that Clemson luck is a powerful thing.
Man, clemsux looks bad. They’re very lucky right now. ND and FSU are going to crush them.
May light it up second half, but Riley’s offense looks pedestrian so far. Their only points came on a short field after a muffed punt. Duke has cost themselves at least 6 points so far with penalties and careless ball handling.
They are fortunate that Duke keeps shooting themselves in the foot, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

This duke team will give unc all they want and more. They did last year as well.
The problem is Clemson usually improves as the season progresses. Hopefully FSU gets them though. I think Hartman and ND will.
Clemson benefitted from elite QB play from Watson & Lawrence. Clearly Cade is not on their level, not even close.
Dook gonna end up pissing this away. Getting gashed in the run game. And they’ve abandoned the run on O.
It will be against ND, FSU, and UNC. Duke isn’t exactly an offensive juggernaut.
But for all the talk of this high flying explosive offensive, Logg has had a better first game with no RBs and a worse OL.
No not totally. They have blown some coverage on some plays but it’s the first game. You expect some mistakes. Dabo still holding the reins on offense.
Klubnik not much better than DJ. Nowhere near Watson & Lawrence. And Clemson’s WRs nowhere near what they had with Watson & Lawrence.
Oh no….we missed out on Riley and had to settle for Loggains!!!
Dabo when asked about Garrett Riley's first game as OC before the game:
"Well, it's the Clemson offense. We've always collaborated as a staff. We hired Garrett to come in here and coordinate the Clemson offense."
WOW!! If that's true, I can't see Riley hanging around after this year. He'll still have too many options to have to deal with Dabo's Mickey Mouse BS.
