I understand that coach LLOYD is considering just going ahead and forfeiting the KM VS SHELBY GAME.
“But, before I make any premature proclamation, gotta see what they do vs the county.” The county, as in KM, Crest, and Burns. I guess that you missed that part.

Much better performance from the Bulldogs this week! I felt like the turning point was Pryor’s first down followed by Sweezy’s 60 yard touchdown pass to Twitty. Asheville kept it close for the first half but Burns pulled away by halftime. I felt like we played like the team I felt we can be. Asheville scores to cut to one score again...then Pryor takes it to the house on the kickoff and it was over. Pryor’s 50 yard TD should’ve never got called back. Refs would’ve never thrown the flag if he had not scored. Other than that I can’t complain. Thankfully we still scored on that drive. Looking forward to the Crest game next week. GO BULLDOGS!
Congrats Bulldogs! Bulldog fans have faith. I believe Burns will have a great year overall. I see them finishing no lower than 8-3 after the regular season and depending how the Crest game ends up; 9-2. If the Dawgs stay injury free than they should really make some noise in the playoffs.
East Forsyth and Shelby are very similar. East would have the advantage with their D-line, they would definitely get pressure on Shelby’s QB. Shelby can throw the ball better, because they have better receivers. East has a better running attack, although Shelby didn’t run the ball very often against us because they could drop back and scope the field for minutes before throwing it. Defensively I think East has the advantage because they have a good D-Line and great D-backs. I think Shelby has better play calling and overall coaching also and that goes a long way. If these teams played on neutral field and neither team had a turnover I’d take Shelby by 3, but these two teams are very close. Shelby looked the best I’ve seen them look in the 7 times we’ve played them. East Forsyth I don’t believe are what they were last year at least at this point as they lost a lot to graduation last year or so I’m told.
No, the clock was on 12 at the start of the play because I was on the sidelines and I remember our coaches saying “12 seconds, so they have about 2 plays” prior to the play. I personally thought the clock should have been on 7 (after the play) as the QB rolled out and threw an incomplete which would take about 5 seconds. Either way no harm came if it thank goodness.

They had some on the post game show last night. Stats were all over the place because we had so many different players score. If you have time replay it on YouTube and our announcer calls in and gives them.
Na, I think it’s more so the sound of all the crickets that have made a home in those back-lit runner-up trophy cases you guys built to go in your field house.

After rereading your post and seeing the emphasis on "LOUD SOUND" it's got to be some sort of mutant Cicada Nest or something like it; but nonetheless, you guys might want to get that checked out, wouldn't want it to keep thriving and end up looking like the only thing in there.
