Shelby finished a Friday game a few years ago at 1 pm against AC Reynolds and my gosh it was hot as crap. Shelby kids were hanging on Friday night, but on Saturday they were horrible. Stay away from 1 pm and Monday night.

First time they've pitched a ball in about 10 years.....definitely the last 4. Veer is pretty tough when you use all the weapons. Rumph (a great athlete) was most impressive BECAUSE he pitched it. But they also just used speed sweeps and some things in the offense long forgotten.

Forecast for Saturday at 1pm. Partly cloudy and 81 degrees. 84 degrees at 3 pm. Sounds ok to me. You know the A.D. picked 1 PM to try to avoid evening thunderstorms. Looks like it could be a good decision.

All I know is Crest said you better get in that stadium tomorrow because they are closing the gates after the first quarter. There are some youth league parents pissed because they may not get back from their games til after the first quarter. lol

I agree with you on that. As great as your last qb ran the offense everyone knew that he was going to keep it 100% of the time. Rumph looked like the old school Oklahoma Sooners quarterbacks pitching that thing out especially to #10. This simple upgrade makes the SP offense more dangerous because now you actually have to account for the pitch man throughout the whole option play. Now as a defense you truly have to account for all three options and possibly a fourth option if SP decide decides to add a pass option to the mix. It was a good win by SP.

KM and Shelby should be fine moving up. Our game would have been in trouble around 9. Would hate to come back Saturday for 1 quarter. I wish they had moved the game up but either way we will for sure get the whole game in tomorrow with no worries about weather.
