Why would we not expect Monroe to be the athletic team they always are😂 Shelby folks and Crest folks might be heading to the car at the same time next week..

KM and Catawba Ridge ties 7-7
KM had a chance to win at the end somehwere around a 20 yard field goal and doinked it off the left upright...

KM has QB issues with all three I remember maybe 2 or 3 completions, they are going to have to run those 5 runninbacks to death until someone can complete a pass... Defense made three stops down deep in their territory .... That Copperhead team was stout though for sure

Yea I was surprised with the score, but Catawba Ridge is a good football team. Left before I could watch yall.

Burns won 6-0. Had quite a few resting tonight. Ben didn’t play and a few others. Penalties hurt even though it was a few young players but we got to cut those out. Had 2 TDs called back on 2 other drives. Cramer is struggling this year bad. Kenyon Surratt was even more impressive tonight. Kid is tough and you cannot tell he’s a freshman.

Also probably would have scored another but they treated the end of the 1st period like halftime despite only playing two periods so when the clock ran out we had to turn it over to Stuart Cramer (we got the ball first but even if we had kept it would have had to start a whole new possession). Those Gaston County refs were something else I tell you. They also gave Cramer a few extra seconds on that last drive.
