15 yard penalty on the extra point put the kickoff at the 25. That is there the onside was attempted. We fell on it at the Crest 34. So yes, we went 34 yards and scored down 53-30.

It was touched by Crest before it was actually recovered, though. That rouging the punter on Shelby was trash, too. Both teams got a couple of suspect calls. However, as a whole, I thought the Refs called a good game.

We won two bigs ones today over Kings Mtn.
Shelby in their feelings over a supposed onside kick... the kicker almost missed the ball!!!! The last 4 kicks were all shaky! Noone onside kicks from their own 25!!! That helped Shelby cut it to a 2 score game giving them some false hope...Little league parents even understand that!!! They should be in their feelings over their defensive adjustments... 6 and 7 playing the run??? Isn't Creat a passing team? That made it easy for them!! I'll be interested in seeing the Olympic game... Gonna try the other Bridges this week!! Maybe I'll give a comparison next Saturday!
Real question. What’s going on with your receiving core? I’m not going to call out any players but seems to be some disarray.
The same thing that happens on EVERY team. You’re always going to have a receiver or two who feels he’s not getting enough touches/ targets. Doesn’t matter how brotherly the Crest receivers seem to be, it will happen with them eventually, too, as the season progresses. Happens with every team.

Heard the Shelby side was half full/empty last night. That’s unheard of with this rivalry.
Also heard Shelby fans were fighting amongst themselves at the jv gm and some got handcuffed and put in the back of the SUV.
Probably rumors.
