I know you still read here, so do your ole Geaux Cha'gas pal a favor.... talk to your administration over there at Chase... Burns had their first volleyball game there today (currently in a third set of varsity) and that Gym or I shall call it Trojan hell is so hot that even an all year athlete had to stop mid-match and come out due to the heat.... Yall shoulda took some of that scoreboard money and put it in a way to actually decently cool that gym, Im talking stifling heat that not only puts the players in danger but everyone else sitting in that gym today.... They knew this game was coming up for a few months but to allow players to play in that is dangerous and absolutely ridiculous....

Would be great if it plays out that way. On my way up to TC Roberson for the Buncombe County Jamboree. Burns plays Erwin at 6. Hope to see some improvement on offense.

Had a bud text saying it was a tie 14-14 with Greer in our scrimmage...

Had a fumbled punt return turn into a score for them, bunch of penalties, Shelby doing the occasional Shelby things... ha ha....

For real begins next week... Gauntlet first two weeks with two talented teams in KM and Crest.....

Greer, was really good fb team, big on D-line and played smashmouth fb...
Shelby lost both rbs early..
Kinda caused She to be one dimensional.
Greers Qb made alot of good decisions.
And rb was really good.
This was great test for Lions and to bring them back to earth.
J Tate should be ok (knee) J Williams. Ankle. Maybe longer...
Overall tough great game by both

Has anyone else looked at the Big South conference schedules? The Gaston County ADs and coaches definitely didn’t do Crest of KM any favors for conference scheduling. The Big South GC coaches stuck together, took a dump on the CC schools, while simultaneously giving Ashbrook the most favorable schedule they possibly could. Ashbrook does not play any tough back to back games in the Big South.
