There definitely was some interest by the family I will say that. Ashbrook definitely fought to get him. He would have had the opportunity to join a phenomenal freshmen class in KM if he would have joined. Ashbrook not a bad spot for him though.
Speaking of freshmen, so many of these kids and their parents want to play varsity and play right away not understanding how big of a jump that is. Very few are ready right away at the bigger more competitive schools. You are not the biggest, strongest, and fastest on the field anymore when you move to high school varsity. As you get talented freshmen I wish more parents, kids, and those pushing for them to play understood that more.
