Gotcha, thanks and that must have been his grandfather too. He knows more about the HS Football scene than about anyone. I really enjoyed talking to him.
He taught and coached middle school ball in Gaston County and Charlotte Meck for a long time. He is a KM football alum. I believe he is an assistant principal now somewhere.
Yes that’s what I mean. People are getting off work and then will need to navigate traffic. KM and Burns both are traveling so there should have been more consideration in my opinion.

I like getting the reps but playing SP offense does nothing for us long term. Nobody in 4A will have that offense. Good reps for our offense though. Just hope we all come out injury free.

It is something about the heat/humidity mix and the wet bulb temperature has to be below 88 on the field and it 93.4 when they cancelled it. Or at least that is what I heard.
Why not wait one hour and see? Someone told me there were only KM and South Point fans waiting at 5:15 to get in.
No clue about that one because it is above my pay grade. I will say I was told by a pretty reliable source that there was 0% chance of it starting at 6:00 so I tried to relay that information.
I also was just told thar a decision had to be made within 30 minutes of the gates opening up. I don’t think the FCA wanted to deal with returning money if no games were played. Again just what I am hearing, could be wrong.

It does. It is always a few degrees hotter on turf fields in the summer.

I didn’t see them score against WH, can’t speak for Mountain View tho. I don’t know the lineups or rotations of either team but I thought WH held their own pretty well against Crest.

I have also seen the danger of burns..Turf fields actual temperature can be 40 to 80 degrees hotter than air temperature. At minimum today, the surface was probably between 120-130 degrees.

Did we watch the same game? The only deep ball I saw was intercepted in the end zone by WH.
The way yall going back and forth it sounds like 1 TD was or was not scored in the matchup. Sounds like both teams held their own. Just a scrimmage and both were probably subbing left and right.
I’m just a casual, saw Crest was playing nearby and decided to go watch. I thought WH definitely played better than I was expecting. I tend to agree, there’s no telling what the rotations of either team were. I certainly wouldn’t know.

Very hard to tell until it’s for real. Coaches are still trying to finalize things which will probably be a work in progress through non conference. I take it WH JV struggled ? Ours has only had one scrimmage but it was on the practice field and our varsity was in the stadium so I didn’t see it.

We trade film tonight / tomorrow morning but I could care less. Next Friday is a whole new situation. WH could have won 50 to 0 and it wouldn’t matter next week. Next week is all that matters at this point .

I saw where Lincolnton beat up East Lincoln pretty good and did a job on Dollar. Top side of our conference is as tough as it gets.
