Don’t know what team you was watching last year, but Grier had about 25 touchbacks during the season. He had an outstanding year as a kicker. Don’t recall him kicking any balls directly out of bounds last season.

He was a major help to Crest's state championship last year. Plenty of people recognized it. 25 touchbacks? That's major. Making a team go 80 instead of 65 yards is a big deal.

The old first game doesn't matter is coachspeak - everybody has been at this for a long time and if you are seriously considered for a state champ. run it shows early 99 out 100 times. Does anyone in CC think their team is a legit candidate for a state championship appearance this year? Just a question -

Dude Barnes took teams to threctitje game with QB’s that couldn’t do much more thsn breathe in their own. He will or he won’t this time.

At what point and time are you going to go and show them how to do it?

A battle for 3 3/4 of the game and all of a sudden we’re doomed. The game was a solid battle until the last 6 min. We get the QB position settled and we’re fine.

I don’t know what game MG South was watching, but this game was a toss up with 4-5 minutes to play. Without the turnovers it could’ve gone either way.

Oh no doubt it was a grab. That’s where I thought the flag would be but Thompson fell and the ref acted like that’s why he didn’t catch it instead of the contact. I just knew the flag was coming.

It was definitely a tackle from behind by the defender.
