eeeeehhhhh- wrong again. Switched offenses coming into last year.
No Boy George - I'm all good. Ha You just worry about your flamboyant outfits and have yourself a good day. Karma, Karma, Karma, Karma Chameleonnnnnnnnn, you come and go.....you come and go ....ohhhhhh
Notice you know the lyrics word for word, interesting. I will not judge your lifestyle choice. I am sure that pink in October is more than just an awareness month for you. I also see your menstrual cramps along with your bout of irritable bowel syndrome have you up early. Glad to be on your mind so early. I am going to take you under my wing since you love me so much. Your new name on these boards is private Goomer Powell. You don’t speak unless spoken too and every first and last word out of your IBS induced breath better be sir and yessir. You understand me private Powell?

You are just stealing stuff from other more talented guys on the boards. All of what you are attempting has been done....probably by me. Everybody on earth knows those d#mn lyrics unfortunately.... as you obviously did.

Back on a football note. We have something special in Kings Mountain with our young quarterback. I am always careful with any high school freshman but our young quarterback is a special young man. There isn’t a historical comparison I can use with for him in our area. I am still processing what i witnessed last night. Every time he takes the field he gets better. He is the package. Last night 5 tds passing and 1 rushing. I watched this kid convert a 3rd and 55 with a laser while on the run. As a fan you sometimes have to sit about and watch greatness develop whether on your team or on another team.

Looks like your defense is playing well the last 2 games too.

We have a coupe of young stars emerging on that side of the ball. A coupe of kids lost their starting positions after the Shelby game. One of those kids has a D1 offer and is being heavily recruited. Coach Herron and Carroll are old school, you don’t perform they will find someone who will. Everyone has to earn their spot and perform. We are still a pretty young group overall but we have experience with that youth. We only start 3 seniors on offense and 2 on defense.

whose calling plays now at KM? I never heard once Bolton left for Rock Hill. I heard rumors over the summer that Bobby was gonna give up calling the defense, but I guess that was just rumors

Coach Shane Short is the offensive coordinator and play caller. We have a good group of young coaches on the offensive side who work together well.
Coach Carroll took a little family time in the off season. We are happy to have him back for an another season.

Awesome throw and presence in the pocket, but Shutdown how you guys get to 3rd and 55?
I watched the game while at the SP/TCR because i thought that would be a better game and it was penalty after penalty and of course the coach was livid and added to it with his penalty..I think I was actually 1st and 59 originally. Seemed like the coach was actually showing them how to make calls correctly because it was several minutes of them talking with him on calls before that situation. SP game was ended by time the KM 2nd half started around 930.

We were actually first and 60 I believe at one point. Once we went up 21-0 in the first 4mins or so in the game the officials slowed the game down to a crawl. The officials literally called big offensive play after big offensive play by our offense back on penalties until Coach Herron couldn’t take it anymore and got a 15yd penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct for giving the officials some choice words. This one scoring drive took over 30mins to complete. We actually had to score twice on this drive. I believe it is safe to say that we will not be extending this series.

Incredible performance. Jordan and the KM offense has improved each week. Love what our offensive staff is doing with the unit. KM has added wrinkles each week to the offense. This week will be huge in that offensive growth with Catholic coming to town.
John Gamble Stadium will be rocking this Friday as Kings Mountain has been selected as a host for a national Patriot Bowl game that are highlighted around the country on 9/11. New unis for the event, special guests, and an opportunity to put 6A on notice. What more can you ask for?

Lose 1, great kid hope he ball out at Ak. Defense had a lot of depth at his favored position..
How is it ok to start at one school and transfer to another during the season? What stops kids from leaving late season to get a ring?

Im assuming its an actual move. Its an hour + commute. And a highly doubt a contender is going to have many playing spots available for in season transfers.

This kid was originally a KM kid and started varsity for KM as a sophomore. He and another kid both transferred to Crest after their sophomore years at KM. Those transfers did not make any sense because Crest already had two returning D1 safeties last season and both of these KM kids played the safety spots as sophomores for KM and had good years. This is the side of the transfer game no one wants to talk about. Many transfers don’t work out. After transferring to Crest he was initially ruled ineligible before he was cleared weeks later to play at Crest. I highly doubt if he would have been cleared to play again with another transfer inside the county. He is a good kid and I feel for him some. Parents need to slow down and assess situations logically. One of the biggest questions a parent/kid should answer when contemplating a transfer is does this move benefit the kid more or does it benefit the program you are transferring into more? My spill.

I wish colleges would look at these transfers. If a kid has played on 3 teams already in a 4 year HS “career” he will leave the college just as easily.

Transfers went from “the new way of life” to completely turning the game into a joke at every level. There is now a transfer portal which makes it tougher on high school kids. Now you got men in the NFL not getting what they want and tucking tail back to college which creates a bottle neck from the top and bottom. This is what an entitled “tuck and run” generation has created. My spill. That same opinion was echoed by a college coach recently. It has become a disaster. But hey, at least all the old heads can brag about those rings… It’s not about creating young men anymore. It’s about the image of the program.

I scratch my head on some moves and wonder why kids stay in bad situations.

Many coaches do look at this. I’ve spoken to college coaches who stated that they do exactly that and this is a factor when offering high school kids. Some of these coaches shared why would they bring in a high school kid who more than likely will not play as a freshman just to have the kid transfer after they have developed the kid for a year or two. They rather grab a developed transfer over that high school kid who is likely to leave.

Facts! That whole “we can get you looks if you come here” is done! In the world of technology, that crap is for the birds. If you are a legit big time player, you will get looks anywhere. They don’t look at those kids that bounce around in a good light now days. Heard the exact same thing. They want dedication and a family that will allow them to coach their system without the parents overstepping.

College coaches absolutely look at parents. If your parents act a fool the player absolutely better be a stud lol. Basketball recruiting is much tighter than football on this sort of thing.

Congrats @beamer24 I see your guys are quietly rolling under the radar while playing extremely well. I think you guys will definitely grab that #1 seed in the 4A west. Hibriten, Burns, and Cramer will fight it out to get to that title game. I watched Reidsville twice in video, I don’t see them having the guys in the trenches this year to fight any of you off. Long season though but yall look good.
