Thanks man. We need to stay healthy and have the ball bounce the right way a few times, but they are a fun group to watch.
What’s the problem he’s going to another County.. Nobody’s owns that kid and his parents pay for his well-being not us fans..I have zero problems with him doing what he feels is best for him..
Highland Tech has a kid with an offer and Bessemer City has a kid with several D1 offers. That alone should tell parents what they need to know about recruiting.
Suits us fine if you guys both end up on one side is the bracket. We will take our chances with the other side and only have to see one of you to get to the championship game, if we can make it that far.
I tell families this all the time. Over 10 years ago, one SEC coach I dealt with said me that the schools athletic department had 6 full time IT people that all they did was monitor current players, recruits and recruits families social media. Even said that they didnt even need to be friends and would backdoor (basically hack) to see accounts. Kids and families didn't understand at the time that they were competing with other recruits across the country. If two athletes grade out the same and you have one family always criticizing or complaining about coaching and the other family dont, guess which recruit they choosing between the 2. It's worse now because they are competing against other college players. Smaller schools for a lot should would be a better fit as far as being being school ready in a year or two for a lot of college freshmen.
They also look for guys who elevate those around them. If they're on a 6-5 team but their value is undeniable and they accept it....that college coach knows he's getting somebody strong between the ears as well as arms and legs.
Not necessarily true because 25% of the big time recruits have transferred at some point..The biggest move is usually a transfer decision after middle school but people don’t think much about a 8th grader making a move
Technically a middle school kid moving to a different high school zone is not a high school transfer because their high school eligibility clock or high school enrollment hasn’t started. High school eligibility starts the minute they are enrolled in a high school.
Shelby rolls, KM in a tight 1, Burns in a tight 1, Crest probably similar to last year.

That is a tough one to pick. I took Lincolnton but I don’t love it. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if you guys win. Looking forward to keeping up with that game after the first 5 mins of our game.

Your defense is definitely good enough to keep you guys in it. Crest will need to find enough offense 24-27pts to pull it out.

Monroe’s defense is well coached athletic and fast but I believe your defense is just as athletic, just as fast as Monroe but bigger. You guys should be able to challenge them a little more defensively.
I think Crest can go beat Weddington this week, but it'll take ball control and at least 24 points I think
