Crest & Kings Mountain beat Ashbrook & Huss by a combined score of 91-0 tonight. Forestview scored 6 on South Point late to keep the city of Gastonia from going scoreless tonight.

They didn’tCrest don’t sleep on Ashbrook.
Crest held Ashbrook to a 102yds of offense total which is definitely impressive.Crest front 7 was rock solid tonight..Crest offense had me confused a couple times but hey it don’t take much to confuse meBig week ahead
Yes...its gonna be one of those weird games... either yall start out and blow em out by 3 tds.. or Let em hang around and the 4th Qtr gets very interesting.McLain was under pressure all night , no time to throw , physically dominate on both sides of ball
This is the most physical Crest team in a while.
How are we already to end of regular season , let’s get after it this week. KM will be a challenge , Barnes and the Chargers will gladly accept it
Hope both teams will be healthy for a great atmosphere and game
Crest defense will be a challenge, that unit has gotten better as the season has progressed. Kings Mountain defense coming off a great performance themselves. I haven’t seen stats but I am sure that Huss was held to less than a 100yds total offense. Next Friday should be a great environment on senior night at Crest. I am expecting a typical CC slugfest in this one.McLain was under pressure all night , no time to throw , physically dominate on both sides of ball

Save this for KM next week... let em copy and paste this. The refs SUCKED last night.
SUCKED!!!
It is unbelievable how bad it has got.The refs SUCKED last night.
SUCKED!!!
I hate that refs always try to slow down “blowouts” by throwing ghost penalty flags. Every coach will do what they’re supposed to do and if they don’t it will be addressed on the field in some fashion I am sure.It is unbelievable how bad it has got.
Burns did the same thing last night against Highland. Take away any of those distractions from next week vs Shelby. Really smart decisions in my opinion. Let those kids focus 100% on the big game next FridayI see that Crest celebrated their senior night last night. Smart move by Barnes to cut down on any extra distractions created by senior night.
I agree 100%. Senior night breaks up your normal pregame process for players and coaches.Burns did the same thing last night against Highland. Take away any of those distractions from next week vs Shelby. Really smart decisions in my opinion. Let those kids focus 100% on the big game next Friday
South Point does tooI think Hickory does Sr night 1st home game of year.
We had patton so it didn't matter either.Just play someone like EG and don’t worry about it![]()
Huss' first 1st down was 2:39 in the 4th qt..Crest defense will be a challenge, that unit has gotten better as the season has progressed. You a rookie, this CC business so stay in your lane. But since you brought it back up, you rarely hear KM fans mention officiating in any KM game unless it’s really egregious. The SP game officiating was egregious and one sided. SP is so use to benefiting from phantom calls that many of your fans go into a tizzy when you don’t get preferential treatment by the officials. If I had my way we would get out of a league with the Gaston County teams for a multitude of reasons but one of them would be the officiating. There are two organizations based out of GC that provide officials for high school games in the area and both have issues. One is the pro-Belmont officiating group who has favored SP for years and the other is the pro-Gastonia officiating group with all the Huss and Ashbrook alums officiating GC games. Best officiated game we had was the game that college officials were used. Amazing how professional and efficient those officials were compared to what we normally see.Save this for KM next week... let em copy and paste this.
I was waiting on the stats to come out but I am almost positive Huss did not have a 100yds of offense total. I also wanted to see how many yards rushing Coleman finished with. Khareem is coming on strong down the stretch. He has to be close to 400yds rushing in the last two games.Huss' first 1st down was 2:39 in the 4th qt..
Rushing game has definitely improved. Im hoping from here on out, we add more beef on defense against power teams. This late in the season, I think the two offensive tackles are in shape enough to play 1st and 2nd down on the interior d-line. Gotta get freshman Boyd more touches too, his routes, quickness and speed is getting him open a lot downfield.I was waiting on the stats to come out but I am almost positive Huss did not have a 100yds of offense total. You must be out of your ever loving mind. SP starts most games down 7 with these "refs." There are NO Belmont Refs....most of them dont look like SP players in case you havent noticed. Then you add all the opposing coaches whining about chop blocks constantly to guarantee will get a several called a game. All you f(l)ag football offenses hate to see the men come to town. You a rookie, this CC business so stay in your lane. I would have read that...but SP still won.... cry some more.... just like next week...keep crying... waaaahwaaah.... thanks for proving the point for all of us... heck it feels like THANKSGIVING all of a sudden. You a rookie, this CC business so stay in your lane. SP owns KM....next.You must be out of your ever loving mind. SP starts most games down 7 with these "refs."
