Imagine if the biggest struggle in your life was the name of a sports team. Sounds privileged if that's whats keeping you down. My guess white ppl are complaining the most.

Redskins I could atleast understand, but this is laughable. Imagine if I complained that notre dame needed to change their name bc Irish ppl are not angry leprechauns.

Per usual...would be hilarious if they changed their name to Anglo Saxons...then the same ppl would complain its supremacist

It would be cool if they became the Americans, and they could, in theory, keep the Native American stuff without being historically incorrect (similar to Braves/Chiefs, which are just cool names and not offensive).

Although the old-timey baseball fan in me wants the Spiders.

The Cleveland Baseball Team!

A lot more Injuns would still be around if they did lockdowns when the Europeans came over.

When I think of Cleveland, I think of "Burning River". The Cleveland Burning Rivers

I’m fine with this. Don’t think any team should have a nickname that refers to a race or ethnicity. This includes my Boston Celtics, but I’m not going to make a fuss about it unless it’s a derogatory name like Redskins is.
