Dresser wants both Larkins...BAD

I can see Frosts at 141/157 next year and Larkins at 133/149.
He'll encourage both Naaks to explore "other opportunities" to free up $$$.
I thought Larkins are pretty loyal to ASU. Both could have gone to more of a blue blood program if they wanted to. They may be like Little at Arkansas and keckenstien at UNI. Just loyal to a smaller program and not willing to go to the highest bidder.

I doubt he's giving the Naak's much money at all, they're room guys.
Agree, especially the younger brother. The older one had some wars with Gabe when he was ranked around #6 pfp, and thought the older one was either top 10 or at least top 20. Not someone you would write off as a room guy when recruiting him. I’m sure Dresser thought he would be ready to stat at 184 by now, but obviously they must think he not close or they wouldn’t have gone to the portal for Dean.

Issue is last year NIL was still a pay for play situation and that's not the case now. They had 1 million in rev share this year but the collective raised that and donated it and AD gave it back to them . They would need to do that again and get more because others have $ coming as well. Most teams would want the Larkins bad

Should count as a L... but I'm not even sure that hurts guys at nationals.

But it's BS
It does. First forfeit in a tournament counts as a loss. It’s still ridiculous though. And imagine the outrage if Iowa did it… like everything though there is a double standard..

You don't think Albaugh has more $$$ to give?

And your making the assumption that only the highest bidder has a chance?
Cmon, man.
You're better than this.

It sucks but How many matches had these guys wrestled? I know high school puts a cap on matches/day which is good for events like Super 32 which is out of control. I’ve never been a fan, damn near every game I ever pitched growing up was a complete game with unknown pitches and Aspercreme on the horizon.

It’s weird yinz pay more attention to this lowly tournament than our US team competing at multiple age levels. Flip the switch for wrestling season in November!

It is as old as wrestling itself. Guys in early season tournaments don't always wrestle out the bracket. I have been aware of this forever, and so have most of you. Do you really think a bunch of random fans flew to Vegas to watch wrestling? The crowd was about 600 people. The fans will live. What hurt Vegas was the Paycom duals. The one good tournament left is now gone too because of these duals and the timing. It wasn't that long ago that Vegas,Midlands, and the Scuffle were all stacked events and an absolute blast to attend.

The soldier salute is in a good time slot to attract more teams over the next few years.

You think Dresser just lets Echemendia give up his last year? I don’t think any of the Frosts or Larkins can beat AE.
