Most definitely on the winning play by WRH in 2017. It was flagrant and WRAL had it all plainly on their newsreel

I didn't make that game. I'm usually at the West Craven games since I played there and it is my home. I love high school football so much that I do try to take in some high profile games when I can. Years ago I had a job that gave me fridays off and I could travel anywhere to watch a good game. Hopefully in 6 years my plan is to retire at 66 (I turn 60 next month) and resume my travels to watch a good high school game. I struggle with missing a West Craven game.

247 put out a article about Kaba possibly shooting up the player rankings as the summer goes on....you have to be a member to read the whole article if anyone is please read let us know what the rest says

https://247sports.com/Article/2020-...-a-blue-chip-recruit-talks-schools-129130006/

They say he will be as highly recruited a linebacker as there is in the Country. He says the South Carolina trip is the most impressive visit he has been on.
Said he didn't expect much from the North Carolina visit but he really liked it. Said when he left there they had really changed his mind. But then he say's I’m not going to pick a school off of who won a championship or whatever,” Kaba said. I’ll pick off where I feel most comfortable at.

Whats interesting is he said in his tweet, all schools he "hasn't" visited yet still has his interest. He hasn't visited Oklahoma or Notre Dame yet.

Yep so i assume everyone is still in play.....his list could change after he takes some visits this summer

A&M has an assistant from Concord, NC, Jay Graham, on staff that did well in NC when he was at Florida State and his alma mater, Tennessee. You are right, they have enough talent in state but they will still venture out for an elite player.

A&M is a one of the truly great and unique places to attend a game!

They'll be a ton of eyes in Clinton, even after he makes his decision in April.

Not sure...had some really good guys in the 90's not sure if the recruiting ranking is like it is today....guys like Jerris McPhail,Fuzzy Lee,LC Stevens,Leonard Henry,Willie Parker just to name a few
Fuzzy Lee was recruited by Nebraska and others, and LC Stevens was recruited by Texas, but both chose to stay close to home and play at UNC.

How many of those teams have a coach that has won a National Championship?

How many years ago was that and where was it at? Don't compare the ewe to Texas. It ain't smart. Truth of the matter is he flopped at Texas. Be happy with the old man. I sure am!

Georgia Tech really is an underrated program. Those numbers are solid given the restrictions they have.

Well with a new staff and completely different system i think Athlon missed with GT. I'd drop them 2 spots. I also don't buy the Miami rating.

Won at Texas, with Texas talent. Not the same thing.
Sure hope yall don't get disappointed with the aging Mack Brown.. His first 2 seasons at UNC were 1-10 and throughout his time at Carolina, he would not let you forget them. I don't remember Mack winning an ACC championship nor ever beating Florida State in the league. He's a great PR man though! I remember when Mack was at Texas in 1999, NC State went to Austin and whupped them!

Even without the option they've been competitive. Their facilities are underrated and being in the middle of downtown Atlanta doesn't hurt either but I see your argument. As for Miami if they ever get a stadium built on campus they would hit another level imo. Hard rock is a good bit ways away from coral gables.

Mack is one of the older coaches out there I will admit but has a much younger very energetic staff that I hope will get the UNC program going again.I don't see us having 1 and 10 seasons due to the fact Brown was left with some talent this time Bottom line UNC will probably never make the playoffs but just three years ago if not for a fake off sides call on the onside kick against Clemson we would have had a chance.

I just seen it where Clemson has offered...that's big time...for a defensive player that's a huge honor that Clemson defense has produced a lot of NFL talent....think they gotta be in his top 5 probably pushing someone out

3 years ago if NC State had a field goal kicker you wouldn't have been paying Clemson and no 2nd national championship for them

Wiz you are exactly right, we would’ve played someone else from the Atlantic division in the ACC Championship game, we would’ve beat them, made the playoff, and who knows......

If’s and buts man If’s and buts.

P.S. In all seriousness, State had that game won.
