I'm a thinkin we could score 14 on em but I dont know if we could keep them less than 14.
Well hopefully the fellas are having a good week of practice and resting up/focusing up for postseason play
Just some end of the regular season notes
-Amaris Williams 15 sacks and 32 TFL ranks among tops in the state also worth noting received offer from ECU yesterday as interest continues to pile up for the Junior
-Josiah McLaurin finishes reg season with 1,243 total yards(768 rushing,475 receiving) and 22 total TDs
-Nydarion Blackwell sophomore has 832 yards passing in 9 games(missed Red Springs game) possibly could achieve 1,000 mark in first playoff game joining really short list of Stephen Horne(2001) and Blake Smith(2021) Clinton QBs to pass for 1,000 yards in season.
Clinton currently looking at a 6 seed based off latest projections which would get us atleast 2 home playoff games. And a possible rematch of last years first round game with Hertford County in round 2 but of course this all subject to change so we will patiently await the news Saturday. Go Horses

How did Clinton end up with a bye the last game. I'm trying to decide if that would be good for my team or not. If your team is playing good as Clinton is I may want to just keep rolling. Then if you kinda banged up it could be good too. Hard one to me.

An odd # of conference teams, each year one conference team finishes the season 1 week earlier than others. This is what I was I told anyway.
South Lenoir and Greene Central are also on byes this week. SLs season is over and GC will make the playoffs.
As pointed out, conferences with odd number of teams will always have one team that will not play a conference game the last regular season playing date.

The ECC Illuminati's plan from the beginning was to get Clinton into an odd numbered team conference giving them a late season bye, thus making them soft for the playoffs.

Per article in Robesian St Pauls was without multiple starters due to injury and the Flu according to the article tho Baldwin played unless that was a typo
