Clinton vs Fairmont RD 1

Old match up from the Tri 6 conf back in the early 2000's Clinton comes in riding high and playing some really good football the last month or so...i know Fairmont has athletes they always do should be a good game looking forward to getting it started....everyone is 0-0....even with the #1 seed and playing solid football Clinton still seems to be the afterthought in the 2A east....i like our chances just as much as any Clinton makes a statement starting Friday night...one game at a time GO Horses!!!!!

NE is a good football team. I Atleast respect the talent you guys have year in and year out. Some are quick to point out that you haven’t ever wont a title, but to me that doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t have. Clinton probably should have more than 5 titles but sometimes the ball doesn’t bounce the way you want it. Either way NE is good and if we are lucky to meet at Darkhorse Stadium, you have an open invitation to come talk shop with me in the pressbox. Deal?

I'm not much of a fb guy when it comes to x's & o's. What I do know is everything about Northeastern fb and what areas we excel in and what areas we aren't so good. I know that we have one of the top coaches in all of nc on our sidelines and I know that we've faired very well over the last few years against the powers down south. We've played in two state championships in the last 8 years and our program is no doubt on the rise. I would consider that pretty successful in most people's eyes. All clinton has to do is keep winning and we will see you soon. I'm honestly not concerned about us getting tripped up if we have Biggie on the field

PackofHorses has been pretty cool up here this yr. Ive interacted with wiz also. He seems to be nice as well. I just get tired of hearing about us not winning a ship. It does get old after a while. Northeastern is in the mix year in and year out, that's a fact that no one can deny. The same can't be said for 95% of the teams in the east. Wrh and swo are included in the 5%. As much as it hurts me to give swo credit. They did bring a very good team to EC last year.

QB has passed for 700 so they can throw it a bit leading rusher is a sophomore(maxpreps) rushed alil over 800 yards....Fairmont always has athletes judging from seeing the bball teams they have produced over the years....had a kid get a scholarship to Duke last year i believe

ECC teams want no part of the NEC or 1a Holmes for that matter. Aside from Clinton and SWE,Northeastern is spotting the field 14pts.

Fairmont came to Elizabeth City last year. First time I'd ever seen them play. If they are anything like the team last yr then Clinton will beat them bad.
