I’m assuming you mean outright conference championship? Just last season we were co-champions with Clinton. I don’t agree with it because Clinton beat us head to head so I think they should have been outright champions but that isn’t the way it’s written these days.
Yes I’m guessing out-right is what HSOT based article on. Yea I agree with you I don’t believe in co-champions. You’re either the champion or the first loser

Dalrymple went out in the first quarter with a ankle injury. Don't think he'll be back. Good game so far. WRH 7-6.

likewise buddy. Always great to put a face to a name.

Clinton fans seem to be top notch. I enjoyed seeing the looks on some of them's faces when I went to the visitor stands with my bulldog hat on and asked if I was on the home side. Good to meet you guy's. I see Wizard of the East posting on the Wolfpacker board a lot so I really enjoyed seeing him. Congrats on a big win. Both teams played well enough to win. I thought the decision to go for it on 4th and 1 inside the 15 and not giving the ball to #3 for WRH was a mistake. Even a qb sneak there would have had a better chance at succeeding than what they ran. #3 was getting big yards on every play. Both teams defense's came to play. Huge crowd with great weather. Hard to find any negative on it at all other than one team had to lose. 2 great teams.

Congrats to Clinton on the win. From everything I have heard sounds like it was a great game. Always hard to win at Wallace. Probably a 95% chance these teams will meet again

The formula for beating Clinton is Power run game IMO. We are set to defend the spread with lots of athletes on the back 7. Not as much size up front but speed. Now offensively you have to force Clinton to pass. But, great teams find a way to minimize there faults. Coach Johnson has this team full of energy. Proud to be a Dark Horse. Any time you beat a great program like WRH, you should be proud of the accomplishment. The bulldogs will be right there in the end, just hoping we are too.

So when you all LOST defending the spread at Central Cabarrus, who didn't have alot of weapons, was that how the spread stopping defense was supposed to work? Just curious

Those Late CC scores came off Clinton turnovers defense actually played pretty good offense let us down late and defense was gassed.....remember Clinton had the lead with 6 mins left then 2 INTs and a fumble i believe led to late CC points ultimately the game

Hey troll. How’s its going? I said Clintons defense was built to defend the spread better than the power and I stated why. CC was shut down all night until the turnovers and a short field allowed a score(s) They are a good team, not the caliber of some great teams, but we lost no excuses. What’s your point? Oh that’s right you don’t have one but to talk junk. It’s cool. We can take it. Best of luck to your team rest of the year.

FYI, that team with "not a lot of weapons" only lost by 4 to an undefeated and top 10 ranked Northwest Cabarrus, so go troll on the 1A boards or wherever you came from.
