434 vs. Brother Rice

14 TD, 3 INT, averaging 450 yards per game.
On pace 4000+ yard season (9 games) would rank top 5 all-time in IHSA.
Can't say enough good things about this kid on and off the field.

How did he get 434 yards against Rice and only put up 16 points?

Good question.
Two red zone turnovers. One drive resulted in FG instead of TD.
Aurora Christian really should have scored at least 28 points but had a hard time finishing drives.

AC also had a long field to work with each time they got the ball. Brother Rice kicker was awesome, kicked ball into end zone for a touchback on all but one kickoff.

He also had a lot of drops - his WRs had some gimmes but dropped which killed some drives for AC. As mentioned in other thread, I think AC and DLS will be a dogfight this weekend.
