If the announcers are commenting on it, you know it’s bad. That being said, we are getting beat physically right now. Hopefully our biggest strength, depth, will save us again in the second half while Texas tires out.

We missed enough foul shots to win by double digits. The Dauda experiment is over I hope. Let Walker and Tac get in and bang some with the big girls. Walker is the better of the two 6’5” girls. We need help against big teams. We played like crap and still should’ve won.
Obvious foul on Johnson at the end with no calls- if that had been UT it would have been called - I knew after the first quarter it was gonna be a hard win if a win at all
Not always - call it both ways - UT lady drove towards the end of the game and hit the layup and our girl didn’t even touch her but we got hit with the foul which may seem inconsequential except it caused us to foul near the end instead of letting it play out. Johnson was fouled period with no calls so yea - in this case - the refs played a huge role in this game
The referees hate Gamecocks. They are responsible for our troubles (and your mental instability).
The only problem with your take is fouls ended up being 20-18. Not lopsided at all. We just got beat. Period.
Do you understand the game of basketball at all? It’s not the total number of fouls , its WHEN the fouls are called - it’s easy to make the fouls even but it’s when the fouls are called that have a direct impact on the game - understand the game and quit looking at the numbers
You can blame the lack of foul calling on Dawn Staley after she complained after the first quarter to let them play. I find it ironic, that the shot to tie the game at the end , the SC player wanted a foul to be called because she didn't shoot the ball she just threw it up in the air and over the backboard.
