Granted, Kevin Young is at the helm, but Pope laid the groundwork for the roster. His name doesn't get mentioned enough for their success and the current trajectory of BYU.

I'm sure the new coach appreciates the players Pope recruited there but Young had to re recruit them.

These same guys lost to 11 seed Duquesne a year ago so Young beating the 11 seed and then 3 seed big ten Wisconsin is impressive though.

Agree. If we are being honest with ourselves, Pope struggled in the post season compared to those before and after him at BYU. My biggest concern about him coming to UK, but I’m on the Pope train!
