CNN considers permanent ban for Kellyanne Conway over ‘serious questions’ about credibility:

Over the weekend, CNN pointedly turned down an offer from the White House to have Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway appear on its Sunday shows — and a new report claims that might be a permanent arrangement.

(UPDATE: CNN publicly calls out Kellyanne Conway’s new lies about show invite)

According to the New York Times, CNN executives have “serious questions” about Conway’s credibility, as she has consistently pushed what she herself has called “alternative facts,” such as the nonexistent “Bowling Green massacre” that was roundly mocked last week.

The Times notes that media critics such as New York University professor Jay Rosen have called on networks to bar Conway from their shows due to her repeated use of falsehoods, so it’s possible CNN could be just the first network to decline offers to have Conway on their shows.

The network which colluded with the DNC to sink Bernie Sanders is questioning the integrity of another? That’s rich.

Are you in favor of reaching out to the victims of the Bowling Green massacre? I think there's a website where people can contribute.

What’s that have to do with the hypocrisy of CNN questioning the integrity of another.

Who gave the paid contributor the debate questions? Who did the DNC help prepare questions for Ted Cruz?
I believe she over heard a few topics, not exact questions, and relayed it to the Clinton camp. She was correctly terminated from CNN.

I have no idea about the DNC helping Ted Cruz.

Since they are talking about misrepresentation of facts, would that preclude CNN from talking to Obama for all the lies he told about the aCA? If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor?

Did the network collude or was it a paid contributor of the network?

Jesus. Read the Wikileaks emails. CNN employee (on their payroll, sent debate questions in advance to Hillary, Donna Brazille).

Then there is this:

In an email dated April 28 with the subject line "Cruz on CNN," DNC research director Lauren Dillon asked other DNC staffers to "send some topical/interesting" questions for an upcoming interview. "CNN is looking for questions," she wrote.

"Maybe a couple for Fiorina," she added.

Then this:

On April 25, in an email with the subject line "CNN questions for Trump," Dillon similarly asked for questions CNN's Wolf Blitzer could ask Trump in a scheduled interview on foreign policy.

"Wolf Blitzer is interviewing Trump on Tues ahead of his foreign policy address on Wed," wrote Dillon.

Then this:

Another day of WikiLeaks reveals yet another Podesta email illustrating the blatant collusion between the Clinton campaign and their "friends" at CNN. The following example comes from Clinton Communications Director Christina Reynolds who promises to "leak" a memo to Dan Merica at CNN before sending it to other members of the "press." Guess they had to pay CNN back for the early look at those debate questions in some way...this is as good a currency as any.

Then this:

The latest Wikileaks data dump has revealed how CNN chief political analyst Gloria Borger emailed Hillary Clinton campaign chief John Podesta telling him he was a “star” and describing how she had been in “gop hell.”
In a short email to Podesta entitled “U r a tv star!”, Borger wrote, “I have been in gop hell. Will reach out soon! U good?”

As I stated earlier, it looks like a CNN contributor sent Clinton a heads up on debate topics, not specific questions and CNN terminated her once it came out. The other things you mentioned seems like TV hosts looking for help with questions....something tells me this is not an uncommon practice for any network with either side of the aisle. And the leak, again, do you not think this happens daily with many networks and many people in politics?

CNN said the report was "unremarkable" and that the network regularly communicates with both Republicans and Democrats when preparing for interviews.
"This is completely unremarkable," a CNN spokeswoman told the Washington Examiner. "We have similar communications with Republicans. When preparing for interviews we are regularly sent suggestions from rival campaigns and political parties, both solicited and unsolicited. Casting a wide net to ensure a tough and fair interview isn't just common media practice, it's smart."

WVMade, the other day during her excoriating review of President Trump's alleged effusive "praise" of Russian Premier Putin, California Congresswoman Maxine Walters called out Putin's "invasion of Korea" as a reason to reject Trump's respect for him (Putin)

Did you see CNN call her (Walters) out for that horrific gaffe?

from article

"This brings us to our central point: when politicians deny the moral and political order, they will end up positing crazy assertions that could probably stun even a toddler. If you think this is madness, then think again.

Maxine Waters, the U.S. Representative for California’s 43rd congressional district, has just come out and declared that Vladimir Putin “is continuing to advance into Korea”! I live in Korea and perhaps I need to warn some of my Korean friends that a storm is coming.

The sad thing is that Waters wasn’t even challenged by members of her group-think for upholding such a crazy idea. These people seem to think that whatever comes out of their mouth, regardless of how stupid, must be true".

Were these people on the CNN payroll or not? Corruption.

Do they regularly say they have been in GOP hell, when communicating with a DNCer? This from one of their leading analysts.

Talk is cheap. Why didn't CNN release the emails to the GOP asking them for questions for Hillary or other Dems? The answer is no.

Even liberal former CNNer, Piers Morgan just last evening, said that CNN leans well left, particularly at the staff levels.

Leaning left (and I think it's way more than a lean) is not the same as collusion.

Coop, did you even read the Wikileaks emails? There was collusion not only against the GOP but against Bernie. Do yourself a favor, education yourself. Read the emails, not just from CNN but from other media outlets.

Then let me know if you still think there is no collusion.

BTW, the Chief Political Analyst at CNN, emailed that she had been in GOP hell. If this is not an indication of bias, (I contend corruption) I have no idea what would persuade you.

You made my point. You're a very good liberal. So is Gloria Borger even in her very significant role at CNN. She is not supposed to be partisan, however.

Trump's strategy of making the media the enemy has some upsides but it has some downsides to and this is one. Considering that Conway is a representative of someone that has openly made CNN the enemy and that has called CNN fake news, it's reasonable to expect if Conway comes on CNN she'll just attack CNN rather than explain and promote the policy of the Trump Administration. I don't see that CNN has a duty to put such people on.

Going after the media to some degree is one thing, making them the complete enemy as Trump has is another.

If I were Trump and as far left as CNN has gone with their all out 24 hour attacks, I would not permit a single Administration official to go on CNN again. Then, I would encourage the GOP in general from the party apparatus to their politicians to avoid it as well. Let's then see what happens to their ratings.

They simply need to be fair to get GOP'ers back on again.

I will try and education myself. I did read. No doubt Donna Brazille colluded with The Clinton campaign and she was rightly terminated. I do not doubt CNN's bias, I doubt the collusion charge. Fox is biased as well. I'm not sure if MSNBC is still around, but they were biased AF 9as the kids say). What's the point, your sold on CNN out to ruin your life so why bother?

The White House (any White House) needs CNN more than CNN needs them. It's not like they won't be able to get both sides of the political spectrum without the White House. The number of people that will go on TV and talk about politics is very large. Note that CNN turned down an offer from the White House for Conway to appear, not vice-versa.

And as far as getting all the GOP to get on board, note that a fair amount of the GOP dislikes Trump

Bias is one thing, collusion is very different. CNN claims they send the opposing party emails soliciting questions for their opponents, but have yet to produce a single email. And I disagree. CNN hard news is biased. Fox hard news with Shep Smith (a liberal), Chris Wallace (a registered Democrat) and Bret Baier are much more fair than the CNN anchors. Now, both opinion journalists are clearly biased on both networks.

Of course the media leans left, especially on social issues. It's like saying the Bible Belt leans right. It's common sense. All major media outlets are in large cities where the national news come from reporters who tend to be less religious than those in more conservative parts of the country and who live in big cities, working and living with segments of society that might not be as prevalent elsewhere. You go to a small rural town in anywhere USA and you're going to find churches and bars full of ignorant rednecks who love loudmouth Trump. It might not be PC calling them "ignorant", but sorry that's reality. Accept it. The smarter, more cultured, high output individuals who do the most for our country despise Trump. Those type of people are reporters and journalists. You're not going to find Joe Blow Camo working at CNN. He's down at the bar complaining that his job left because of Obama. Like I said... common sense. That being said, I'm confident that the majority of journalists and reporters try their best to be non-subjective. Though I do think Trump's hatred and attacks on the media (outside of Fox and Breitbart) is tipping that scale, naturally.

I can't find a video of her actually saying it. Do you have a link? I also can't find where CNN called her out for it. Common sense say's the fake news Trumpets heard Korea instead of Crimea because they wanted to.

I will defend trumps policies that I like but I will not defend Trump and his personality or his behavior. I find both pretty disgusting. Dream on. This country was built on protests. The freedom we have came from riots and protests. The ability to make a decent wage came from riots and protests. Everything good in our country came from a fight. It wasn't given to us. As for the whining and crying, the majority of that is coming from the White House and yes we've heard enough of it.
