You have to assume their strategy is to replace MSNBC as the place for leftists to get their news. This means that MSNBC and CNN will be fighting it out for roughly 50% of the country and those that watch cable news. Kerry Pickett of the Daily Caller reports that CNN has hired Valerie Jarrett’s daughter Laura Jarrett to cover the Trump Justice Department. Valerie Jarrett was a senior adviser to Barack Obama during both of the ex-president’s terms.
