Coach K to return to the sideline Saturday?

NOOOOOOOOO!!! I'm not a fan of this. Keep him behind the scenes until February 9th. I know he hasn't been too far away regardless. I see no need in wasting the emotion and excitement on Pitt. I just don't get why everyone involved doesn't see the value in doing it that way. Cameron would be epic if he returned on February 9th.
Personally I would rather he come back Saturday. You don't win games on emotions and I believe the team would benefit more having him here for game with Pitt
I agree from the standpoint that there will be plenty of emotion next week anyway. Less of a distraction as well. If he's ready to come back, come back. If he's not then stay out until he's healthy.
I thought he might come back last game, so it doesn't surprise me if it's Saturday. And today is 27 days from surgery, so that would be on time, if everything has went to plan.
Coach Capel has done a great job, but K is the GOAT, and if he's ready to return, then I'm all for it. If we need K to return against UNC, as an emotional boost, to get up for UNC, then we're in worse shape than I thought.

I just think Pitt taking UNC to the wire is enough to put out guys on notice. UNC is a much better team, and a team that is much more likely to beat us than Pitt. I don't see it being a distraction in any form. It's creates a good vibe for Duke, not a bad one. Why not make the environment even more hostile by bringing him back then? Just my opinion.
Also it keeps the THR crowd from saying Coach K was better all along but wanted to return on Feb. 9 to make the Duke/UNC game about Coach K's "heroic" return. Ha!
I don't think anyone is saying it will be a cakewalk, but we are allowed to be confident.

They'll spin it either way so that's the least of my concerns.

I haven't heard anything, but I have a strong feeling that he will be on the bench Saturday, and I really believe his "team" is waiting. They will feel relief to have him back, and will show it in their play. It's about to start coming around!
Oh yeah, and "K" is not one to go in for the rah-rah of a North Carolina game return, he will return because he is up to it, whether it be Saturday or whenever.

They (the usual THR crew) were saying the fix was in for the ND game because of the refs. Guess we were watching different games.
I think we will see Coach K back Saturday. I agree with K-oach, the travel
kept him from coming back last week. Sitting for more than 45 minutes is tough after the type surgery he had. I experienced the same surgery and he's got 20 years on me. He'll be back ASAP no matter who we're playing.

No joke buddy. We were at the old Paradise Island in Disney World and I came across one of his security guys who I hadn't seen in a few years (we were tight in early college). He brought us to the part of the club that Ice rented out and we hung out for a few hours. He's really down-to-earth!
