A teammate of Coach Oddo’s at NCSU. Two men, nearly 800 wins. Heaven now has one helluva staff there. RIP to a legend
He was a hell of a coach. Looked like a coach, talked like a coach. RIP to a great legend. Those Byrd Teams were something special in the mid 90s. The irony of him winning at 71st is just too much to bear thinking about it. God bless the family.

No. You might be thinking of Bobby Poss who won Championships at Southview, 71st and 2 at AC Reynolds.
I have heard his name many times over the years. Obviously a legend and one of the best. May he rest in peace with thoughts and prayers to his family.

Yeah, wanted to leave that part out. LOLOL He was Byrd football. It was almost cruel to finally get a ship but you had to beat YOUR team to do it. Then he went back to Byrd to help out.
He will be sorely missed by the Byrd community. Even up to last year he was still going to the games. I went into coaching because of the positive influence he had on so many kids and the Byrd community was inspirational. Truly a great man. RIP Coach.
