Coach Peagues thank you for stepping up yet again and taking the lead of the program.

I hope these guys put it on the line for Coach Peagues. I also hope they just relax have some fun and play ball. I really want them to win every game but I'd just be happy with seeing these guys enjoy the rest of the season and maybe become a Payne (get it?) in the *** for their opponents.

Pegues is once again in an unenviable position of leadership for this team. I hope the they play their butts off for him and win a few games.

Would be interesting to see if Pegues were to finish the year really strongly, if he would get any consideration as permanent replacement.

I’m pretty sure at Indiana, when Mike Davis took over for Knight, that they went on a run to the NCAA Championship Game. Lost to Maryland. They ended up riding that wave and signed up Davis as the head coach permanently. That’s when they started their 20 year slide into obscurity. I hope that doesn’t happen here.

I really don’t want Louisville to sell “WE’RE BACK!” Tee Shirts every season. 😂

I agree Commodore the wrong hire here could really set us back. We could end up disappearing like Indiana or like Nebraska football. Once great programs now obsolete in the world of sports greatness.

I think IU may have found their coach same at Tennessee (FB), but it took 20 years? Good grief let’s hope that’s not us.

I'm interested to see if Pegues makes any changes and adjustments to the offense and defense. Also wanted to see how the players respond to him as coach.

I'm not expecting any miracles and they could still lose the remaining games. However I do feel a tiny bit better that he was the HC for the first 6 games this season. We'll see what happens.
