Deion has substantial health issues. Should he quit? Yes. Will he yes? This thread is comparing Deion to Rhule. started by a braindead poster who talks **** only when the huskers win, and then disappears like a ***** when they lose. Maybe it is good for hbk's mental health to take a break on loss weeks, but then he should come back with some humility and not post this garbage. Rhule has never been great at anything, he is a pure scammer. Deion is a hall of famer, had a chance to coach his kids, coached both of his kids, spent time with them and watched them grow up. Rhule can't say the same. Shedeur isn't an NFL talent but his dad helped him get the opportunity and the experience. Can you imagine shitting on a father because they helped their kid get onto a Power 4 team, become an above average college football qb, win many more games than the team was accustomed to, and then make an NFL roster? Deion has a style that some don't like but not everybody has to do things according to the "style" of a central plains message board purveyor.
I was told 2 years ago that Deion was going to lose his foot. As far as I know he still has his foot. The guy is a pathological liar and attention *****. I'm leery of anything regarding Deion, including information about his so-called health.

I’ll give him credit for not quitting already due to legitimate medical reasons but I fully expect him to at the end of the season. Give him credit for being man enough to show up and take the beatings
But I'll give him zero credit for building any semblance of a coaching staff that was committed to anything beyond the here and now, and getting a paycheck. And zero credit for building a program.

Sanders will leave Colorado in the exact same condition that he found it in.

1. You don't need to simp for hbk, he doesn't love you and doesn't need you.
2. Even while simping for hbk, you're still afraid to answer a simple question. What has Rhule done? Made Northwestern our rival?
3. Your moniker is an embarrassment to the great huskers of the past, please change it.
Now you are just clowning yourself…again.

In a thread where we are poking fun at the buffalos, you felt the need to interject your usual crap. You are the one simping for attention. The fact that you are a low class tool means that I don’t answer your questions. As far as my moniker goes, it’s appropriate for a fan of Nebraska, on a Nebraska message board. Your jealousy stinks badly. You claim to live and work a mile from the stadium, tell me, is that under the salt creek bridge, or the city mission?

CU has gone from worst program on the planet to 9 wins and a Heisman in the 2+ year deions been there

and now may get to participate in the most insane coaching carousel of all time

meanwhile here we are, scratching and clawing our way to what we hope will be maybe better than mediocrity (8-9 wins?) by Year Five

great post as always, OP! Very self aware!

His buyout is $12 million this year. Not very high compared to Kelly, Franklin and Napier. But even so, I wonder if Colorado can afford it.

He may be hoping that they fire him so that he can collect a $12 million buyout. Regardless of whether he quits or is fired, the chances of him getting the FSU job if it becomes available are now very slim and probably zero.
I think he's looking to retire. I actually feel a bit sorry for him due to the health issues. FSU will look to hire someone like Cignetti and get turned down.

What has Rhule done again? I do know that he took millions from Nebraska while professing his love for another job only to get blown out by a bottom of the conference team the next week. At least Sanders has an excuse, what is Rhule's excuse? That he doesn't like to work, coach, or just loves being on talk shows.
Dude. WTF? 6-2, you loser!

People would have lost their minds the first year if we had that hype and win total. They would also be losing their mind this year with possibly 4 wins at the end of the season. CU will have the patience if he sticks it out. They don't mind this kind of year if they can have a good one every once in a while.

Travis Hunter's college career and eventual Heisman win are pretty incredible when you realize he was carrying both Deion and Shadeur on his back every snap he played.
When you shove a 5 star talent and a fringe NFL QB into a CONFERENCE that has neither......they are going to make an impact.

Its varsity vs JV. Hunter was the biggest heisman con in history.

Prime missed his opportunity for the Next BIG Gig by 1 season and many programs avoided catastrophe! Can you imagine if last year was when all these major positions opened up? I could see some of these larger programs (Florida perhaps?) reaching out to him and making him a killer deal... Wow what that would have been! LOL!

51% of me thought it would end poorly w/Prime... but that also means 49% of me could have seen it work. I honestly didn't know. Pretty clear that we have our answer now....

Freeze is a real surprise.
His offense has been copied over and over, it is just not as difficult to attack anymore and honestly, I think he might just want to be done.

I coached FB for like 15ish years or something. I never got paid millions to do it but I loved doing...until I didn't.

One season it just wasn't fun anymore and I really don't even know why.

It has worked.

CU games are sold out every weekend and they have a new Heisman in their trophy case.

Incredible 2 year ROI for that athletic dept.

Yeah I think for 2 years it did work. But it has crashed and burned badly now.

Does the average CU fan think his time has been succeasful there? My guess is that percentage goes down every time they play now.

Yes. The answer is obvious.

Look at what he took over - infinitely worse than what Riley/Frost left Rhule with.

Deion breathed life into the long dead and rotting carcass that was CU football. Anyone who denies this is fooling themselves.

Coached soccer for 26 years until this fall. For me I just got tired of the parents. Arguing with refs, couldn't get them to let me know if their kids were going to be at practices or even games, entitled as hell. Still enjoyed coaching and the kids but I'm just too old to put up with their shite so now I just train coaches how to coach their players but only when I feel like it.

I have fam that lives in Denver, CU donors and part of a Buffalo club of some sort..... they're ready to move on from him. Not sure what everyone's mood is, but the people I know there have seen enough and know his best days are in the rearview.

I wont argue that he has been a media darling - thanks to Hunter and Deion’s over the top persona. He’s obviously turned the fortunes of CO revenue stream around as a result.

But as I asked earlier would you rather have Deion or Rhule and you and I both know regardless of the Heisman and Deion making money for the University - he’s not building anything that will last and there is no way you would ever want him coaching from our home sideline.

Whittingham must have called off the dogs in the second half, which I didn't watch. When Utah blocked a punt and kicked a FG in the last 30 seconds of the first half, when already leading 40-0, I thought he might hang 70 on them.
The dogs were indeed called off.

Colorado was displaying other-worldly incompetence through 2 quarters. Utah probably could have scored 90 points, no joke.

No doubt hey had more fun than us the last 2 years. Even with us dealing them one of their losses. This year seems like it would suck though.
