They never played together but Jeff his part time QB coach in high school and Jeff was the offensive coordinator when Tim was the defensive coordinator at North Central.

Well guess the smoke signals from 750 miles away were blurry. He's a great coach and WMU would have been fortunate to get him.

Wanted to clarify that Jeff was offered BOTH the offensive coordinator and QB coach job and turned the offer down to stay at North Central and continue to build one of the top programs in the country!
