Ayala seems to be the best fit. He's a national finalist-level guy who's still capable of training with their lightweights every day.

And other than Reineri, ISU does not have a lightweight on the coaching staff or RTC roster.

Sorry if old news - Basch saying James Green out in Lincoln?
That'll be nice to finally get out there!

Edit - I don't know if it's old news as much as old substantiated rumor that is now confirmed. Expecting to announce he'll join VT staff eventually (probably after Final X based on his announcement)

"Brace yourselves" over Ayala?

Brace yourself, @Matter7172 might indicate Rutgers isn't quite as bad as he says.

Brace yourself, @SlipperyPete might misspell word in a PBP, and the board will never be the same.

Brace yourself, @mcpat might order something other than a Whiteclaw.
"Brace yourselves" sounds like Iowa practice warmup instructions.

At the D1 level?

If not, Trev Alberts' victim at Nebraska-Omaha is a strong
Yeah, that was one ****** deal the coach got, not to mention the kids wrestling. Totally self centered and to think he won a Butkus Award.
