Coaching Changes Elsewhere

Saw at various places some coaching news at other schools. Such as:

Brady Hoke is a candidate at ECU as is Frank Beamer's son Shane.

Tulane hired the Ga Southern coach, Fritz.

BYU will interview the Navy coach.

Of course, other places are attempting to fill their staffs with assts. Lots going on in an extremely competitive job market.

Ex-ECU HC Ruffin McNeill joins Bronco's staff at UVA as the new DC.

Ex-UVA HC London and ex-Syracuse HC join DJ Durkin's staff at Maryland. HCs don't stay unemployed long.

Penn St hired Joe Moorehead as OC...Fordham HC past 4 years...completely turned that program around...inherited a 1-10 team and then went 38-13 in his relatively short time there...

I don't know how he'll work out at PSU...but I really like that move of going to the FCS and finding a top HC that has some experience and record of building a competitive program...

something to keep an eye one...

I think next time UK is on the market for some assistants and coordinators if CMS and AD don't think they can compete for top FBS guys, maybe they need to look at the FCS level for accomplished candidates...
