But..please….no more coaches without Power 5 credentials, meaning success. Sun Belt success just doesn’t translate at the Power 5 level. Maybe it’s just too big a leap.

The coach sets the culture. The very fact that Louisville had more talent tonight and lost to a team picked to finish dead last in the division is proof.

It’s time to move on. It’s time to seek out a Schnellenberger protege.
Your claim is we had more talent but it appears Syracuse was coached to better use their talent. Sometimes coaching/talent lines can be blurred.

There is a fine line between being a players coach. They appear to gone too far in being to nice while not having high enough standards. It is only way to explain the mental breakdowns.

Miss a tackle you are coming out of the game. Miss an assignment you are coming out of the game. Jump offsides you are coming out to the game.

Year 4 is the concern. This stuff shouldn’t be happening at the volume it is.

Friday night will be interesting in that regard.
